Increasing unnecessary taxes simply shifts costs to the consumers. Most import taxes (especially cars for example) are too much. I hope they will decrease the previous amounts.

Not just her own children but her brides were taking really good care of her. Extended family were coming to express their condolences. I can't imagine how much worse it would be if she were alone. Alhamdulilah for Islam and family.

Visited relatives whose father suddenly died after getting the vaccine. His frail wife was just recovering from Covid and although everyone was crying, depressed, and down I couldn't help but feel relief for her that she had so many of her children and grandchildren around her.

Recent Afghanistan coverage is pretty problematic, imo. Many journalists and analysts focus on Taliban gains and the Afghanization of war while withdrawing troops are portrayed as the "good forces" who should have saved the country. Truth is many of them are war criminals.
