Not just her own children but her brides were taking really good care of her. Extended family were coming to express their condolences. I can't imagine how much worse it would be if she were alone. Alhamdulilah for Islam and family.

Visited relatives whose father suddenly died after getting the vaccine. His frail wife was just recovering from Covid and although everyone was crying, depressed, and down I couldn't help but feel relief for her that she had so many of her children and grandchildren around her.

Recent Afghanistan coverage is pretty problematic, imo. Many journalists and analysts focus on Taliban gains and the Afghanization of war while withdrawing troops are portrayed as the "good forces" who should have saved the country. Truth is many of them are war criminals.

I feel sorry for the Afghan people but when they have a history of oppressing neighbouring lands such as Punjab & north India in the 18th century then maybe karma is not just on an individual basis & also collectively on a whole people. Anyway good luck, your people will need it

The only people who can stay in business are those who sell adulterated products (ie, dairy products from powdered milk, etc)

Two days ago, the dairy seller was evicted because he was unable to pay his rent for the second month. Today I didn't see the boy who sells organic eggs. Asked his friend where he was "he stopped coming, prices keep going up and now nobody can afford 14AFN eggs"
