🏆 Support Waterfox
If you’d really like to help Waterfox out, please consider using the default search (Bing) with adblock disabled on it, it would be such a huge show of support! The default search is fairly privacy friendly.
It may or may not be unrelated, but I've noticed that many sites that used to keep my cookie data now require regular email verification to log in as if they always claim that I'm logging in from a different device or location (which is not the case at all).
Also, when I tried to login to this site to comment here by importing my GitHub account info, I got stuck on the part where it says "Authorize Commento" to authorize this. The authorize button was greyed-out with no way to confirm. Was that also due to an incompatibility with this version of Waterfox Classic? If so, I find that ironic.
This last update broke Session Manager by Michael Kraft. This is a deal-breaker for me as it has been working fine up until this update and I rely heavily on this add-on. It was the main reason I've been sticking with Classic. Now I'm going to have to switch to Firefox or regular Waterfox with a different add-on replacement.
Broke Wordpress Block Editor, for me anyway.
It seems open a bug issues is not possible on Github for Waterfox Classic so I report a bug here.

SyntaxError: invalid identity escape in regular expression.So some regex js feature isn't available in WF Classic and that's the problem. Officially there will be only security updates, so for new features you can only count on external contributors.
Won't launch at all when e10s is forced enable via browser.tabs.remote.force-enable. Disabling it via safe mode would stop Waterfox from crashing immediately (before the Window was even shown) when trying to launch it. Please fix it. Thanks you
Totally Agree with Jonathan Mickelson's comments. From an old guy, all this magic new BS is scary as hell if you are a real Systems Admin/Programmer.
All the winners complaining about how Waterfox isn't working correctly, and making extreamly rude comments toward Waterfox Developers, Get you Pencil out, and write your own browser software.
The Waterfox Developers kick ass.
I'm developer myself on few different fields, and I don't care any changes etc, but losing your year long opened tabs and windows, you even remember the position of different tabs in particular windows, is worst nightmare that might ever happen with browser... in fact that was reason I switched to Waterfox. Vanilla internet users does not care at all, and are intact, but for structured deep work with thousand tabs it's same damage like stolen computer. Thanks god downgrading solved it, since now I will never update as I had to do with Firefox before, but that's not solution isn't it... so from my point of view I'm in same situation as few years ago when Firefox jumped into abyss.
I have got no problems with the upgrade. Maybe my 21 open windows containing 158 tabs is not too much.

Waterfox developers, I praise you for all your efforts to keep Waterfox Classic available, with all of its plugin add-ons. There is tremendous technology (and workflow) value here that has been discarded by all other browsers. I applaud you and esteem you for removing all telemetry, and keeping our individual Citizen privacy safe and intact. Thank you for taking on the difficult task of applying appropriate security patches.
It is irrelevant if Waterfox Classic works with all "modernized" websites. It is VITAL that Waterfox Classic continues to work with the "classic" workflow and technologies of the "Golden-Era" of the Internet, for which there is no replacement or analogue.
For all your prior and continued years of devotion and passion, "Thank you deeply, and thank you kindly."

Favorite Waterfox Classic
If you search using the on-screen keyboard with multi-process enabled from a little earlier version, it will crash. The keyboard is difficult because I have a slight handicap. Certainly there was no problem until the October version last year. Please correct it.
After update: All pinned tabs gone! All open tabs gone! Is this resolvable or am I looking at several wasted days trying to recover and set up these links again?
Yea they broke everything again they are to stupid to do Any Thing right it seems not even session manager cold open the closed tabs
fuck you, my session manager was unable to reopen my 1280 panels I need for work, seems I cannot trust waterfox updates anymore... you turn into shit same as Firefox

Same problem..It does not work with the Session Manager add-on either. Ignores any backups, no response.
All of my browsers are portable. If you do not want to make your browsers portable, you should get PortableApps.com or PortApps.io to make Waterfox Classic and Waterfox G3 portable for your users.
YouTube Movies is working properly again now, thank you. I'd imagine the same for NetFlix. As usual, I'll report back if/when I notice anything else not right.
By the way, I accidentally upgraded to that "G" version. I got scared when it appeared I lost my profile, bookmarks, literally anything saved. However, I took a chance and downloaded and installed "Classic" again. Classic must remember and save everything completely differently... Still had all my stuff as if I had never left! THANK YOU, ALEX!
Anyone else having issues with https sites all returning "Your connection is not secure" messages?
You can also try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network.
Maybe installing HTTPS Everywhere would fix your problem.
