The Atlanta International School doubles as Hills Village Middle School in the new movie "Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life."
The movie, which opens October 7, is based on the best-selling book series by James Patterson. It's a CBS Films release.
"I think one of the exciting things was watching the school transform into the set for the movie," said Kendyl Moss, head of development for the Atlanta International School. "They added new trees and signage. The kids were excited."
The Atlanta International School is in talks to play a role in two more movies. "Parental Guidance" and "The Blindside" also used the school for scenes.
It's the former campus of North Fulton High School in Buckhead.
