oniya228 is a Japanese YouTuber, generally called oniya. He usually makes videos about 2b2t survival and 2b2t history, although he is known for misrepresenting The Drain and The Autumn Drain's history.
History
oniya228 joined 2b2t sometime in December 2020, making his first video about 2b2t on the 22th. On January 1st of 2021, he made his first video about 2b2t's history, which was about the SpawnMasons.
Misrepresentation
oniya228 made two videos about The Drain and The Autumn Drain, were he spoke about their history. They were riddled with factual errors, such as that The Autumn Drain was built by Offtopia, willyroof and Jacktherippa and that The Drain had not griefed until 2020. cityboss1 found his videos and took notice of the errors, warning oniya228 in the process. oniya228 ignored the warning, so cityboss1 bedtrapped him with Nihongun, which is a Japanese group led by cityboss1.
Drama
oniya's fans were outraged and harassed members of Nihongun. cityboss1 expressed his motive of the bedtrapping through a video by saba10200, who is another Japanese 2b2t youtuber. In spite of being bedtrapped and receiving large amounts of backlash, oniya228 did not delete, unlist, or private his factually incorrect history videos.
Trivia
- oniya228 believed that the Infinity Incursion was aimed at him. BachiBachBach (the leader of the Infinity Incursion) was unaware of oniya228's presence, having started the group well before oniya had joined.
