Hello! and welcome to my very first blog
My name is Elizabeth Elizondo, a 22 year old girl from Monterrey, Mexico. I am currently studying food industry engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey. I usually make some money singing at religious events through a music agency, teaching french (individual courses and at a language school), buying and re-selling vintage clothing.
I am also part of a community who helps people from different countries and cities to actually get to know Mexico. It’s called Intégrate Monterrey and I hope to write about some of our projects. To be honest, the moment I was offered this opportunity I felt happy about sharing what I knew about my country, though I didn’t know I would end up discovering important aspects of my cultural identity through beautiful people from other places. This has left me feeling there’s so much more I’d like to find out about my city and other cities, my people and other people. I promised myself I would keep learning and traveling as much as I can, so I want to write about my trips, gastronomy and culture in general.
I am the type of person who wants to learn a bit of everything. I feel there’s a way for everything to be better, including myself. I would like to become the best version of me and see the best of the people around me. This is the reason why I am starting this blog, for the people I know and for people I don’t, so I can share this experience. My current goals are getting fit through healthy eating and exercise, learning italian, and learning to play the piano. I will write about my process of getting in shape, reviews of various products and whatever comes to my mind.
I would like to connect to interesting people around the globe that can enrich me with the thoughts they share and also to people who enjoy learning about Mexico and/or how to stay healthy. I’d love to get to know people who, just as me, want it all and nothing less.
If you have any question don’t hesitate to comment and I’ll be glad to answer
Thanks for reading
Love
