One of world's worst accused female pedophiles arrested in Israel

She may be one of the worst female pedophiles on record.
Now, an Australian school teacher who fled to Israel in 2008 has finally been arrested.
Cops say Malka Leifer — accused of 74 counts of rape and sexual abuse against children — had long argued she was too mentally ill to be extradited from Israel.
“It was at times frequent abuse, daily abuse and also at times not that frequent,” lawyer David Seeman alleged to ABC.
He is representing survivors in a class action lawsuit.
“It was conducted at the school, it occurred at Leifer’s home, it occurred on camps,” he said. “It was made up of what you might regard as abuse low on the scale of severity, all the way up to the most serious horrific abuse.”
It’s believed 16 girls were victimized by Leifer.
Leifer is accused of sexually abusing her female students at the Adass Israel School in Melbourne. She was principal of the conservative school at the time.
But on Wednesday, Israeli investigators arrested the 50-something accused sex fiend following a month-long undercover probe. Cops concluded she was feigning mental illness.

One survivor — named Rebecca — told the Australian Broadcasting Company she is horrified how long Leifer’s extradition has taken.
“I mean, first hand I know how manipulative she is. She manipulated all of us into doing many things,” she alleged.
Australia has long sought Leifer’s extradition to face the music and the matter was discussed between the highest levels of the two governments.
Leifer allegedly faked mental illness in court in 2016.
But her sick ruse was coming to an end.
Police said: “During 2017, there were indications that the suspect was pretending to be suffering from a mental illness in order to avoid the extradition process, and as a result, police opened again an investigation that led to her arrest this morning.”
Aussie detectives have long believed that members of the ultraconservative Jewish community were protecting her.
