pause the game, select auto saves, pick a new save spot and save :p

@ED13 that doesn't save the game - it just creates a new autosave location. You still start back at the last checkpoint.

the save system is annoying as hell....why they don't put in any quicksave option at least?

Sorry to Google necro, but I was searching for a way to manual save. I HATE the save system. I hate that so many games do this these days. If I have to clear a room with 10 opponents, I hate that I have to do it on my first attempt or I'm screwed out of the chance to try again.

I kill three, die, come back, kill five more, die, come back, last two are stupidly easy. I want to save before I enter the room, and if I fail, reload, try the entire encounter again.

Otherwise, where the hell did my challenge go? I'm robbed of it just because I failed my first attempt. Even worse in this game, I've accidentally killed quest wastelanders, and there's no way reload. It autosaves that, too.
