Failed to save
Hey,
my game does not save automatically... How can I trigger a manual save?
Don't want to lose my progress. This message pops up everytime I enter a new area...

Walk through doorways, or go back to base. There is fast travel in the game so don't worry if you're just starting out.

I know but it won't save. Every usual saving point just gives me "unable to save".... Any hints?

No clue, might have to wait for one of the devs to chime in on that.

I've now lost my savegame. Tried to start with a new savegame still the same error. Could not save all the way. Game is unplayable for me as it is :/

Update: My Anti Virus blocked it. Thanks FeelBotMan for the help ;)

Glad you worked this out. May I ask what Anti Virus you are using?

Did you manually allow SteamWorld Dig 2 to make changes in the documents folder or did you just add in the files you got from FeelBotMan?

Most definately useful for us in the future!

i know this is old but could someone show me how to find out if im blocking the save game?

"Failed to save game."
Disabling AV did nothing.
Lost 2h worth of progress.
I have no words...
(windows store version btw, I thought it was specific for that platform but it's the same on gog and steam)
