I am burning a back up of one of my favorite movies BUT ImgBurn is having trouble burning the sectors when it gets close to the end. Why? I have no idea but i am hoping somebody here knows. Here is the log…

Yeah it is a little bit. But this is the 2nd disc its done this too. But they were both at different spots when it failed. Hmm…

But i tried burning a couple disc earlier. Different video but i never got the sector error, a different error but not the sector one.

You mean just stuff to clean off the disc?

And how would i go about cleaning the lense in the drive?

I’ve done some research on cleaning disc. Heard some mixed reviews that cleaning disc can damage dvd burners, but also here that good quality ones should be fine. Dont know what to do…but i’ll consider it.

I had an error burning a video earlier, it skipped like every 10 seconds. And i really dont think its the disc, they are in fine condition. So i am starting to believe the lens is dirty. I’'ve had it for more than a year now. But before i decided to buy a cleaning disc i will try a different program to try burning it. thanks.

What freeware is out there i can use to try to burn a dvd and truly find out if its my bruner or something else. Thanks.
