I never even thought about the revival being a disappointment since ASP is in charge of the whole thing. Now you've got me worried. It sounds absolutely horrible! The potential for it, that is.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who doesn't have faith this thing will automatically be great just because the queen bee and every character she can get is back. Not going to lie, I've grown comfortable heckling from my balcony seat. What will I do for fun if ASP matures as a writer? Long live the snark!

I actually knew about the NATO phonetic alphabet, but for some reason had not put together that whiskey-tango-foxtrot spelled WTF all the times I saw commercials for Tina Fey's movie. Sometimes I'm slow.

This made me laugh and realize that I'm not the only one out there kind of afraid of the revival. Between what seems to be an ongoing script revision, constantly adding cast members and what looks like a limbo status between L&L for the last 8 years, I'm just not sure where this might end up. Great story, as always!

I'm a person who thinks for the worst first so I'm like nodding and laughing sadly at the same time at your prediction. 'Yup Rory still doesn't know who she wants to be with. Luke and Lorelai somehow were tgt at first and then not tgt in the end or sth.' GOD I WOULD HATE THAT. I am pretty sure about the part of LL not having kids and I was really upset about it. I don't want them to have plants :'(

This is so good! The picture you painted is such a lovely one. If I could make ASP read any of the fanfic it's this trilogy. I'd like to see a girly throw, I hear they're the best kind ;-) I wish we could meet up and reenact Lorelai, Rory and April's mudball scene in case the revival will be sucky.

I love this! I have faith (and some inside knowledge) that the revival will be both angsty and great, but there are still things to mourn (e.g., what didn't happen in the years between) and still room for fear.

In less than 3k words you manage to comfort me with all the love, cynicism, banter and insanity that I could have hoped for from GG.
What are the Palladinos going to waste failing to do the same in the revival? Probably over 600 pages of script.
With any luck my favorite scene will be Melissa McCarthy's cameo which MM fills with all the snarky passive-aggressive retribution for the PR stunt that her brilliant comedic mind can muster. Palladinos, you're going down in less than 3 minutes.

Positively delightful! Loved the inkling of happily married life, and the twins of course are just like their parents. The bit about the living room being the heart of the home made my heart happy. Also, I'm hoping ASP does us justice and we don't have to swing mud balls at her picture. :)

Have I mentioned that I love your brain? Because I do. Creepy comments aside, I love this! It's hilarious, I laughed the entire way through.

I don't want to set my hopes too high for the GG revival but if it ends up anything like this story, I may have to borrow the girl's ideas on dealing with the show. Because their reactions are just perfect. I also enjoy that in your stories you do include April and she's a part of the family, unlike other stories where she just doesn't exist even though it's written in a world where she does.
