>>24047780>When you drink 5 or more drinks at an event other than a late night party Good thing I throw a late night party every night in my home
>>24047767 (OP)Anon I too have been asking this, and after 3 nights of blacking out alone and passing out fully clothed, I have come to the conclusion I am an alcoholic.
>>24047780Not OP, but checked all three.Even though drinking alone happens rarely, and drinking in the morning even more so.But, if I could, I would probably do it every day.Should I seek some sort of help?
Get drunk once a week and give your body 6 days to rest
>>24047778Never heard of drinking at the beach while getting a tan?
>>24047861I've heard of heatstrokes.
>>24047767 (OP)If you have to ask, chances are you're already past that point.
>>24047861No, I actually enjoy myself while I’m at the beach
i have a questionmy bf was an alcoholic ig. this was before we started dating. he said he could drink like 18 beers a nightis that as crazy as it sounds? i dont drink so idk
>>24047926>is that as crazy as it sounds?Kinda, but it also depends on what kind of beers he was talking about. Pussy-ass regular beer hardly counts towards crazy.
when you remedy a hangover by drinking
>>24047767 (OP)when you're on the brink of death, I guess
You guys must be really fat
When you miss real life events/meetings because of alcohol.
>>24047780>When you drink alone. Why is this bad? And also does it count as “drinking alone” if I am drinking while on a discord call or stream with friends who are also drinking?
>>24048065It's not, the guy you replied to is a loser>>24048059Correct answer
>>24047767 (OP)When you can't stop.
>>24048089What if you can stop, but you just don’t want to stop?
>>24048096"I don't want to stop" is addict for "I can't stop".
What if it’s light beers/seltzer’s/lemonade/ice teas and not regular beer or liquor?
>>24047767 (OP)Mild alcoholic here.I knew it when I drove past a liquor store and, despite having no previous intention of drinking, *wanted* to stop.Alcoholism is about desire and drive to drink, not the actual drinking.>>24048059>When you miss real life events/meetings because of alcohol. This is a good line in the sand of being a Functional Alcoholic. I've known some functional alcoholics that never miss an appointment but drink every day or get wasted every weekend.>>24047926>18 beers a night>is that as crazy as it sounds? i dont drink so idkFirst, a "beer" can be 8 to 16 ounces. So 2 beers can equal 4 beers. Usually, I assume 12 oz.It depends on the length of time for "a night". I've done that over a long full night and been fine the next day. Drinking 18 beers in a couple hours would wreck me. For me, 3 or 4 beers is peak buzz. Any more makes me sloppy. It takes an hour to sober 1 drink. Nothing but time will do it. So if I drink 4 beers in the first hour, and one drink and hour for the next five hours, I'll still have 3-4 drinks in me and be fine to talk, not drive. That's 9 beers and being fine. If I then drank 9 beers, I'd be at the same level as if I drank a twelve pack. Which is pretty embarrassing snd annoying, but not drooling on the floor. It's a lot of beer. I would say an excessive amount to drink regularly. But it's far from insane unless it's over dinner.
>>24047801If you’re bothered enough to ask, then yes, consider getting help
>>24048182The desire and drive to drink? Can you relate it to a analogy or something more normie?
>>24047780Yeah I used to be like that before I quit, my old buddies still are. Also, taking shots in your car during lunch break.
>>24048206Could never pull that off. Bosses would know instantly. My personality would do a 360
