Will this work with android ?

Answer:

Designed for Raspbian, a type of Debian, so Linux based like Android. Maybe it will work with some coding modding, but I wouldn't know much about that.

Where can I get the screws (vesa 75 ) to attach on to my desk mount bracket as it was not provided with the monitor ?

We advise you to buy some M3 screws from the local hardware store or on Amazon.

The holes diameter on this touch screen display for VESA is 3mm.

This is a great display and the touchscreen is very responsive in Windows 10 when using tablet mode.

It worked straight out of the box using both HDMI and display port.

I'm using it to control a PC built specifically for use with an electronic drum kit and it's the perfect size and works very well.

Every so often the screen starts flickering between display and black screen. It continues indefinitely and is fixed temporarily by turning it off and on again. I'm not sure at the moment whether this is down to the monitor, cable, GPU or other hardware but suspect it's the monitor based on the fact turning it off and on again resolves it for a while.

If I wasn't experiencing this problem I'd give it five stars.

Resolution is fantastic, clear, sharp with good colour range. Glare is a bit of an issue, especially in bright conditions, making the screen unusable ib bright sunlight.
Powering this using the 5v USB C can be insufficient but 12-24v input works perfectly.
The case and connectors are solid and the option to mount on a tripod is helpful.

The stand seems like a make do option but is does work quite well but is a poor fit.

The big issue with such high resolution is using Windows software even with larger fonts leaves many menu items extreamly small and almost unusable except in ideal conditions, such as subdued lighting in a desktop type environment which defeats the use as a computer monitor. It is great for video, pictures etc.

The brightness is surprisingly good and I've been able to power it from a USB port on the PC which was unexpected, not needing the AC adapter made placement a lot easier and meant one less cable.

The image does appear to be dithered (6-bit panel?) which makes some colours look a bit odd but on such a high DPI display its only really obvious on static colours. Otherwise its extremely vibrant and a very crisp picture.

I only use it as a statistics display for my server so can't really comment on how it looks for gaming but I have tested it looking at photos and it looks extremely good, would make a great photo frame. I'm seriously considering a second one for my desktop PC as an additional display, particularly due to the size and low power consumption.

VESA mounting, does not come with screws!!

First the good! Picture quality was good, build quality was good, i was using this as a cctv monitor, HOWEVER, i mounted this on a vesa wall mount but the monitor does not come with the screws for the back which are tiny, when i found screws i tightened to two finger tightness and now my monitor does not work!! Im guessing that the screw holes at the back are straight through and do not have a block to stop them going into any electronics, very disappointed with this but kinda my own fault, please dont make the same mistake i did.
