Health Department expands drive-thru vaccination sites to ten

The Department of Health (SES) increased the number of vaccination posts per drive-thru in the Federal District. In this way, the target audience - elderly people over 80 years old - will be able to immunize themselves against Covid-19 in ten points set up in ten administrative regions (RAs). From this Tuesday (2), 40 immunization posts will attend from 8 am to 5 pm.

“We mapped out the areas with the largest elderly public and strategically distributed ten vaccination sites through the drive-thru system, further increasing the service capacity, ensuring more safety and agility in the process”, explains Health Secretary, Osnei Okumoto. He points out that these extensions are related to the number of vaccines available and the target audience of each stage.

Last Sunday (1/31), SES announced the decision to offer vaccination by drive-thru to facilitate the access of the elderly to receive the first dose of the immunizer that prevents Covid-19. To get vaccinated, the user must bring an official document with a photo, preferably with the CPF registration, without the need for scheduling, registration or registration. It is important to take the SUS card and the vaccination card. If you do not find the vaccination card, there will be no impediment to receiving the first dose.

Mixed vaccination

In the six UBSs where there will be a drive-thru, vaccination will occur in a mixed way, that is, both in cars and in vaccination rooms.
