After flash your Pipo X7 successfully, you may need to change the system langage from Chinese to Enilish, please check this blog:

And here is the bios file: x7 msLogo bios

 
here is the quick instruction for how to install it.

1 decompress the file , you just need to click decompress the part 1, and it will automatic decompress the whole 8 files. and then you will find a folder called x7.

2 now prepare a usb driver (at least 8gb) and then format it to NTFS and change the Volume Label to winpe

3 copy the whole files in the X7 folder to the root directory of 8gb usb driver

4 insert the 8gb usb driver to pipo x7, power on x7, and press F7 button, choose usb driver recovery.

and the system install will work.

    I had trouble to connect my Pipo X7 I received today to both my Toshiba and Sony LCD/LED TVs. After I pressed the power button on the device, the TV screens were completely blank. I had tried different HDMI inputs and 3 different HDMI cables but still no go. The only TV that worked was an old Samsung Plasma TV that I no longer used. Does Pipo X7 have known TV compatibility issue?

    After Windows update I have video output issues. PIPO doesn't output video to my Philips TV. I tried to plug it in my computer monitor and sometimes video appears, but after restart it doesn't show anything. Are there some issues with video output from this device?

    I installed windows 8.1 pro on Pipo X7, but I cant find anywhere the proper drivers, for example I dont have audio and video drivers are not working properly, is there a link where I can download the drivers?

    thanks for your response, the link you just shared took me to download firmware 183508 20150313 which is the one I am running since this morning and is the one that I cant activate, I even used a tool to extract the windows serial from bios and it says that the serial has been blocked

    sorry for the inconvenient.you will have to connect to internet first and the OS will activate itself since the activation key is already in BIOS.

    I am not dealing with my windows 8.1 pro I am running the last firmware: PIPO X7 TV Box Latest Firmware Released 20150123 and cant activate it, If I install my own windows, where could I find the drivers? because the last time windows downloaded like 67 updates and none installed audio drivers nor video

    Somebody help me please. i have a Pipo X7s. When I power on I get a message "can find root" and nothing happend, I don't see the OS switch menu, so I can boot windows only in BIOS. What colud be the problem/solution. THX
