For real. If you download or share certain big name / big corp's proprietary software you could end up IN PRISON! It makes a lot of sense that one county isn't coerced by the copyright laws of another country. I guess it makes no sense to protect copyrighted content unless you are protecting copyrighted content that came from your own country.
