GA-F2A88XM-D3H and A10-7850K, plus G.Skill 16GB (2 x 8GB) 2400MHz

Am not getting overclocking to work on a positive note. Tried doing through bios = FAIL, East Tunes 6 = fail, @BIOS = FAIL. In stock setup, it recognizes memory as 1333MHz, have tried to adjust it to 2133 and 2400 and it won't get there when I monitor it. ET6 has been corrupted and won't uninstall to be reinstalled. @BIOS won't let me make changes, but will let me activate their autoclock. The first attempt increased from 3.7 > 3.8, did second time and got 3.9, tried again and system shutdown.
Have Windows 8.1 64-bit for OS. Have never overclocked before, so most of the abbreviations don't mean anything to me.

Anyone with lots of patience, willing to coach me through this?

The model numbers are correct. The DRAM Frequency is DDR3-1333 because that is the boot up value with AUTO default settings. For DDR3-2400, you need to enable the Extreme Memory Profile as shown in the #9 picture.

In addition, you also need to raise the CPU-NB Voltage +0.15V in the MIT page.

All those settings you see there in the MIT and Advanced Memory settings page can be adjusted. Use the + and - keys on your keyboard.

Not sure what you mean that BIOS doesn't allow you to change it.

You should set up the RAM first, then work on CPU OC.

Do you have the latest BIOS? Enable DOCP, or manually input basic DRAM settings, raise CPU-NB Voltage +0.1V to 0.15V and see how that works. You may want to start from 2133 or 1866 first. Once you get that stable, then you can raise CPU Ratio and VCore for a CPU OC.

Not sure i did the right thing, but update from F7 to F8---but F8 was for Rev. 3.0 and my motherboard is a Rev. 3.1. The individual slots are identified with having F3-2400C10-8GTX---kit is F3-2400C10D-16GTX---so am confused with the bios saying memory is 1333.

Will have to see have to see how you put pictures in here.
