They are not outdated. You can say they were lost into obscurity. Still, there are Japanese websites that use similar software, but remained lesser known than Futaba and 2channel.

P.S. Harry and Meghan, part of The British Royal Family, are a joke. First of all Meghan was not born British; she was originally a U.S. citizen. She doesn't have the bloodline thing going for her (either racially or ethnically). Secondly, imagine you are part of the Brit Royal Family and you have a problem with some other family member(s).
