- Blocking or warning of unencrypted traffic
All unencrypted Zoom traffic will be blocked from connecting to meetings or webinars. Other external unencrypted traffic, such as phone dial-in and RTMP streaming, will be allowed, but warn all participants that the meeting is not entirely encrypted. A list of compatible plugins for VDI release 3.3.3 can be found here

OpenSSL has been upgraded to the latest version.

- AES 256-bit GCM encryption
Zoom is upgrading to the AES 256-bit GCM encryption standard, which offers increased protection of your meeting data in transit and resistance against tampering. This provides confidentiality and integrity assurances on your Zoom Meeting, Zoom Video Webinar, and Zoom Phone data. This version of Zoom for Virtual Desktop will support GCM encryption when it is automatically enabled for all accounts on May 30.

Shared content will be rendered from the VDI plugin instead of the VDI client. This will improve user performance and lower CPU usage on the VDI infrastructure.
