I don't get why they changed him so much. In the manga, he really seemed brainwashed. He was basically Norn's mind-broken BDSM sex slave. But now? He fuckin' talks, and has a super refined-sounding voice. He's got absolutely beautiful red hair, as if Norn cares about his hygiene. And for no reason at all, they whitewashed him. He now comes off as a creepy pervert, and honestly, Norn just seems a lot less demented and cruel than she did in the manga.

Might be not the same in the LN, the manga seems to have taken some things from WN rather than LN.

Also the character in itself is pretty different, if it was just different color skin than well ok, but this is basically a entirely different character, and if the they changed him so much there might be a reason behind bare color skin change
