Types and ecology of rats

There are three types of rats seen in Japanese houses: Rats, Rats and Rats.

• It is activated after sunset and before dawn due to nocturnal properties.
• It acts as a walkway near walls and shade, and rarely crosses large spaces.

For a while after the war, an era of coexisting rats and rats continued. In the 1970s, the rat population increased due to the spread of sewerage, but the development of skyscrapers revived the rat, which is good at vertical movement. Damage is spreading not only in urban areas but also in residential areas.

Rat Harm

There are three types of damage caused by rats: hygiene damage, damage to city functions, and economic damage. Sanitary damage includes infectious diseases, dermatitis and mental disorders. Examples of damage to urban functions include electrical disasters (e.g., power cuts, fires, and explosions caused by biting electrical cables and gas pipes) and traffic damage caused by cutting cords and the like with sharp teeth.
