Raskin just doesn't get it. That's why Plaskett and Neguse should have handled most of this. The point of having witness testimony is its impact on voters, not its impact on rigged Senate Republicans. He blew it. The witnesses would have shed more light. He blew it.

Principled? No. He knew Kentuckians would turn on him if he voted to convict. And, you would have to agree with his assessment of Trump's guilt. If he were that interested in the constitution he would have resisted this farce ever happening.
