Just discovered this excellent page on Random Houseβs site that places all the canon Star Wars novels on a timeline: http://www.randomhousebooks.com/campaign/star-wars-timeline/. I may have to crack open a few more!
π Thrawn: Treason, by Timothy Zahn
So bittersweet to be reading the end of this trilogy, but happy to hear Zahn is working on another Thrawn series. π€

The Winnie the Pooh x Star Wars crossover we all deserve.
@adamprocter I think it's because it picks one or the other to use as a microphone during calls. Depending on your usage, overtime the battery on one will wear siginificantly more than the other I think.
@numericcitizen Micro.blog supports Hugo themes I believe: help.micro.blog/2019/abou... It does seem to be easier to modify one that Manton has worked on then to start from a default Hugo theme though.
Looking forward to this nice syntax change in Swift 5.2: Passing key paths as functions - Swift by Sundell
// Equivalent to movies.map { $0.name }
let movieNames = movies.map(\.name)
@johnsundell Is it possible to put a guard statement in a foreach by just having it return? Shouldn't that give the same effect as a guard that continues in a for loop?
@danielpunkass thanks for sharing! I definitely could have used this when working on my first iOS app last year. Bookmarking it for next time...
@ChrisHannah I can think of several cities in the US that could definitely use this... π
@numericcitizen Iβve resorted to blocking Forbes in Apple/Google News. They seem to just publish click bait with no substance these days.
@help I'm not sure if this is a bug but when I click on @nytimes.com it takes me to nytimes.com instead of the micro.blog account page like I was expecting.
@Gabz I'm not super experienced with Hugo themeing but I did just spend a good day diving into my customizations so happy to help if you have any questions. Excited to see what you come up with!
@dominikhoecht I think Iβve listened to more Einaudi over the past couple years than anything else. Absolutely beautiful composition.
@JohnPhilpin I'd be interested in joining a Micro.blog specific one for sure.
@Gabz @help I ended up "fixing" this by just using the photos categories page and adding specific code in item-list for the photos page. Worked out pretty well! The issue seems to be that the default photos page is on the same url as the home page so Hugo can't differ between it and the actual home page.
@hutaffe @matthewlang If you go to Messages, click the triple dot at the upper right, and edit name and photo:
You can press and hold on the image at the top of that page to copy. Then paste it into an iMessage or something, press and hold again to save as photo. A bit convoluted but it works π
