I've done hand ballot recounts in NY.
Those vertical lines in Michigan & Wisconsin are not statistically improbable, they're outright impossible.
This is outright voter fraud & the must immediately investigate this.

The leads didn't "magically disappear" and the vote counts weren't a surprise. Republicans blocked efforts to count mail-in votes early in WI/MI/PA.

It isn't, and it'd be highly suspect if it actually happened. Decision Desk HQ messed up when they posted the graph with those vertical lines but it isn't representative of the actual votes being tallied.

Every rising line is vertical each time votes are added. So, I'm not sure what's "impossible".

Uh, you do realize that they report absentee votes in waves thus explaining the jumps.
From what I saw, it was a zero added (or left out of) the results from Shiawasa Co. Michigan.

If one of the parties specifically encourages its voters to vote by mail and the other party tells its supporters to vote in person on election day, I think it's very much possible that the graph will look something like this once they start counting mail-in votes.
