Do you think they don't know?

Democratic politicians are afraid to enter the killbox:

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday he had canceled his plans to attend President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration this week and will instead stay in Albany due to security concerns at state capitols around the country.

“The inauguration is Wednesday. I was planning to go — I’m not going to,” Cuomo said during a virtual press briefing, adding, “I think my place is to stay in New York state given this possible circumstance.”

Hi-larious. They recognize what's going on. Why don't you? Meanwhile, President Trump issues what might reasonably be described as an Executive Order on Banning The Deep State From Assassinating Cops.

Executive Order on Protecting Law Enforcement Officers, Judges, Prosecutors, And Their Families

Judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers should not have to choose between public service and subjecting themselves and their families to danger. My Administration has no higher priorities than preserving the rule of law in our country and protecting the men and women who serve under its flag. Accordingly, I am ordering enhanced protections for judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers. Federal law already allows Federal and State law enforcement officers to protect themselves by carrying a concealed firearm, but the Federal Government can do more to cut the red tape that Federal law enforcement officers must navigate to exercise their right. The current threat to Federal prosecutors also demands an expansion of their ability to carry a concealed firearm, as allowed under the Department of Justice’s existing authorities. Finally, the Congress should act expeditiously to adopt legislation extending the right to carry a concealed firearm to Federal judges and pass other measures that will expand our capacity to combat threats of violence against judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers.

Choosing success

I still believe that Bill Belichick is the greatest NFL coach in history. But the results of this season make it clear that Tom Brady was not successful because of his coach in New England:

Sean Murphy-Bunting is 23 years old, and just 21 months ago he was a second-round pick out of Central Michigan. He spent his rookie year as a reserve corner on Bruce Arians’s first Buccaneers team, a group that hung around a while, but was kept out of the playoffs by consecutive losses to end the season.

In short, he really didn’t know what was coming when Tom Brady became a teammate.

Now, he knows.

“Tom’s not only a superstar, he’s a champion,” Murphy-Bunting said. “So he brings that mentality, that mindset each and every day to work. He’s a true vet and a true professional. And he just brings the excitement and energy out of his guys. He shows up to meetings early, he sits in the front every meeting, he always has his notepad, whether it’s a five-minute team meeting or a 30-minute team meeting.

“His habits are just so good that they rub off on everybody else. It makes everyone want to buy into what he’s doing and how he’s doing it, because of how successful he’s been by doing these things.”

You can't choose to have more talent than the next guy, but you can always choose to work harder than him. Tom Brady has nothing to prove. He has SIX Super Bowl rings. He is the Greatest Of All Time. But one reason why he is the greatest is because he continues to push himself every day, in every meeting, every practice, and every game.

The Sicilian Defense

Monkeywerxus reaches similar conclusions to my own based on his observations of recent events:

Take a look at the amount of military in play in Washington DC for the inauguration.  There are multiple parameters set up, ID’s being checked to enter and exit the city, miles of razor wire and fencing, not to mention some 25,000 troops on the ground - “for an inauguration.”  Doesn’t add up, does it?

Makes sense why Pelosi wants to make the event virtual and why Joe has canceled all of his rehearsals! Clearly, he doesn’t want people getting an advanced look at his security detail and I imagine he isn’t feeling warm and fuzzy about all of this. They certainly seem to be very nervous, but why should they be? They have this whole thing in the bag, right? Not so fast.

Folks, what we are about to witness is the greatest military event since D-Day and Normandy Beach in WW2. NOTHING can stop what is coming. No doubt, blood will be shed. Please pray for our President, our Troops, confusion in the camp of the enemy, and for our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

What I would expect over the next several days based on the above drop - an EBS from POTUS and then likely an internet and media blackout with a short-term lockdown for our safety.

For God and Country.

One final thing, do not get caught up in the hype of this whole Chinese invasion at our borders. It is disinfo. Trump and our military would be acting completely different if this were taking place and our military air traffic does not support this information.

The Chinese Invasion theory is so obviously ridiculous that I haven't even seen fit to mention it. It's actually dumber than the idea that Japan was going to invade the West Coast in 1941. First, China doesn't have the naval transport capability to invade Taiwan across the Formosa Strait, which is only 130km wide at its narrowest point, so it certainly doesn't have the ability to invade the continental USA across the entire Pacific Ocean.

Second, the 5GW that the Chinese have been waging against the United States as laid out in Unrestricted Warfare specifically precludes this sort of military action that plays to the enemy's natural advantages. It's entirely contrary to Chinese military theory; it's only virtue would be that of complete and utter surprise due to the very high probability of complete failure combined with 100-percent casualties.

UPDATE: Quelle surprise! The rehearsal for the Biden inauguration on Wednesday was cancelled again today. How on Earth did we know that was going to happen?

For those who claim that Q is always wrong and that nothing is happening, note that this is what has already happened. So, applying my guideline that the utility of any model lies in the accuracy of its predictive capabilities, what supposedly comes next that we can use to confirm or deny these interpretations?

  • Communications blackout through whatever Range7 is.
  • All air travel though Range6 is blocked. This appears to include US and UK.
  • Events taking place in China related to 3 Gorges Dam, Wuhan Labs, and Tiananmen Square
  • Public events will kick off on Tuesday, not Wednesday
  • All public communications are secured.
  • Contingency government established.
  • Declassification of the activities of FBI Director Wray and CIA Director Haspel.
This will all sound crazy to the committed skeptic, to be sure. But then, I note that in addition to 25k+ troops occupying the nation's capital and VP Pence speaking to the specified military unit yesterday, we're also seeing temporary blackouts all over the world that appear to be test runs, including one at a very structural level that rendered the UATV and SG servers inaccessible for a little while yesterday. And this morning, the UK implemented new Covid-related travel restrictions that cut the capacity for air travel between the US and the UK by 85 percent and requires both quarantining and facial recognition of all international travellers.

Covid collapse in air travel between US and UK will cost economy £11bn this year as business leaders call for airbridge between London and New York. Capacity of trans-Atlantic flights this month is down 85 per cent from last year.... The new rules came into force at 4am with all air corridors scrapped and every arrival facing 10 days quarantine or five days if they have another's test and produce a negative result. It came as all travellers into the UK face being forced to stay in hotels under plans to further lock down Britain's borders from today until February 15 amid calls for enforced quarantine.

The media, on the other hand, expects President Trump to issue a few pardons and fly off to Florida.

The outgoing president is due to hold a farewell ceremony at Joint Base Andrews, in Maryland, on the morning of Joe Biden's inauguration. He will then depart the nation's capital on Air Force One and head to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida before his successor is sworn in.

Both narratives can't be correct, so we'll find out soon enough. In any event, you might want to avoid any unnecessary travel in the next three days. Just in case....

Flying the false flag

It's often said that the Left can't meme. Which is true, but it's also true that despite all their experience, the Left simply doesn't do false flags very well. I certainly wouldn't have thought it was a Right-wing flyer on first or even second glance.

After doing some research with our team, it sure looks like a liberal activist group created a flyer to try to get armed protests in all 50 states and our nations Capitol the week of Joe Biden’s supposed inauguration. Check out the tweet by our own Matt Couch below. You’ll notice some unique similarities.

Now look at the similarities in the fonts, and the radical group that made this flyer on November 3rd for an election night watch party. We have been asking around, and we couldn’t find anyone that’s going to Washington, D.C. or encouraging armed protests. This is when we started researching and found this little gem.

We know that liberal groups infiltrated at the Capitol, hell we even have affidavits from FBI agents now saying so, and arrests have been made. The mainstream media and corrupt Department of Justice however continue to spew this nonsense in an attempt and effort to vilify and shame conservatives for these events that have nothing to do with them.

As we’ve been reporting on our social media platforms, there are ZERO conservative groups planning armed protests anywhere now through January 20th. This is a set up, and we are encouraging our followers to NOT take the bait. DO NOT GO, stay home with your families.

For the retards

I understand it is tiresome to hear me repeatedly tell people to shut up and stop trying to think because their arguments are too stupid and ignorant for me to entertain. Imagine how much more tiresome it is for me to listen to the retarded moanings that they actually think pass for substantive arguments. But, in the interest of education, why don't we refresh everyone's memory concerning the National Guards.

The National Defense Act of 1916 made significant changes to National Guard readiness, structure, and mobilization.

The law increased and standardized training and personal standards.  Congress required Guardsmen to fulfill 48 days of drill and 15 days of annual training at federal expense; this doubled the number of drill days and tripled the annual training requirement.  In addition, the Department of War now administered annual inspections, and the Army required Guardsmen to meet uniform physical fitness and eligibility tests.

As a federal reserve military force, Congress increased funding for personnel and equipment.  Plans increased National Guard end strength to 425,000 Soldiers over a five-year period and provided missing equipment to units.

Standardization of the National Guard brought visible changes.  All state militias were renamed as National Guards, and Guardsmen would wear the U.S. Army uniform.  This visual identity proved important by demonstrating the unity of active-duty and reserve forces and signifying Guardsmen as military professionals.

The law redesignated the Division of Militia Affairs as the Militia Bureau. This title placed War Department as the immediate supervisory agency and placed the Chief of the Militia Bureau as the lead officer of the National Guard. This provision aligned the Bureau under the stricter drill and training standards.

The Department of War would bestow federal recognition to National Guard units that passed the inspections administered annually along with training improvements. This control established more clear objectives for the entire organization, which furthermore would be subject to federal laws governing the active duty Army when called into federal service.

The law codified the dual state and federal mission of the National Guard and required new Guardsmen to swear allegiance to both the Constitution of the United States and their state of record. The president of the United States could now federalize the National Guard in time of declared federal emergency and provided for expeditionary service.

Now, before you keep babbling about your simpleton hypotheses, let's see if you can pass the following test.

  1. Is there a declared federal emergency that covers Washington DC?
  2. Who commands the National Guard when it is federalized?
  3. Who is the current President of the United States?
  4. Who, therefore, must have given the orders for the 25,000 National Guardsmen currently occupying Washington DC to perform their expeditionary service there?
This doesn't mean that the chain-of-command hasn't been subverted or that there aren't a panoply of nefarious plans to disrupt whatever President Trump is intending. But the correct application of Occam's Razor suggests that President Trump ordered the National Guard to occupy Washington DC as an integral part of his plan to defend the Constitution and the Republic against the foreign interference in the 2020 election.

Which, of course, is why the smarter people on the other side are all terrified. Such as CNN's Legal and Security analyst from Georgetown University:
Hope I’m wrong but a few indicators pointing toward significant declassification for political purposes in next three days. We shouldn’t underestimate the damage Trump can do to national security in remaining time left. He should have been removed from office or forced to resign.

Translation: it sounds as if she knows that we're all going to learn a lot about the very bad things some very bad people have done this week.

Fake revolt at Politico

The media wants you to think that Ben Shapiro isn't actually on their side:

The suppression of any and all things conservative took an ugly turn yesterday when Politico staffers recoiled at the invitation to conservative writer Ben Shapiro to join the staff for the online publication’s popular “Playbook” section on Thursday.

One staffer said in a Politico company-wide Slack channel that Shapiro has a “long history of bigoted and incendiary commentary.” This is a baseless, false allegation. Shapiro may be a partisan, but he’s hardly a bomb-thrower. Shapiro wrote in his “Playbook” posting, “Republicans believe that Democrats and the overwhelmingly liberal media see impeachment as an attempt to cudgel them collectively by lumping them in with the Capitol rioters thanks to their support for Trump.”

This is self-evident. Besides, Shapiro was claiming it was what Republicans believe, not him personally. Democrats and the left may be uncomfortable being called out for their despicable politics but, given the attempts to stifle conservative thought on social media and elsewhere, what other conclusion can be drawn?

This is how the bifactional ruling party attempts to convince you to accept their gatekeepers as your opinion leaders. Remember how well it worked with Jordan Peterson - he must be the right-wing hero for whom conservatives have been waiting if he bravely stands up to the liberal media on one trivial issue that no one actually cares about, right!

The Shapiros, Petersons, Pragers and other conservative frauds are actually worse than the Left they pretend to fight because they are successfully deceiving you. But in truth, they are little satans serving the same evil master. As are the Ed Driscolls of the world who try to sell you the slapfight as real.

It's interesting to note that this attempt to burnish Shapiro's conservative credentials has appeared so soon after he found himself putting a foot wrong with conservatives again, this time with regards to the widespread approval of the storming of the Capitol.

Numbers theory

One thing that is puzzling about the incredible number of soldiers now deployed in Washington DC is what possible need there could be for so many of them. There are now enough troops there to successfully invade and occupy the eastern half of Canada, which has a regular Army of only 23,000. While the MAGA forces are the nominal threat being talked up by the media, we know their narrative is false. As for the idea of mass arrests, National Guardsmen are not police, and a mere company of Marines would more than suffice to round up the entire Congress. Besides, all of the corrupt congressmen could have simply been kept in the safe and secure custody they were already in on January 6th, were they the objective.

And a well-trained police dog would be overkill for the decrepit Joe Biden, who might not survive the stress of being barked at.

So what is the point of all the troops? AC has an idea, as he points to the vast number of U.S. residents working for the surveillance state, many of whom could be ordered to Washington DC as cannon fodder for a staged Color Revolution event of the sort that have been seen everywhere from Algeria to Ukraine. If AC's concept is on target, then Seattle and Minneapolis were probably small-scale test runs for the main event this week.

I’ve said the network is vast. They could easily have the manpower to overrun the White House, if they moved everyone from around the country to DC, though I assume there is surveillance up at the city border to detect such movement. Under TIPS pilot-program numbers, New York City alone would have 340,000 assets. Not all would be physically capable, or violence-fluent, but you could probably get 30-40,000 cannon fodder just from there, with maybe a few thousand genuine shooters if that was the plan. I do not know if all their citizen assets are fully read in, or know what they are a part of, or even if they would follow an order to storm the White House in the face of 25,000 armed National Guard and Secret Service willing to drop them as fast as they can pull the trigger. But if even a small portion of 6 percent of the entire country was willing to make the run, Trump’s forces would need a lot of ammo. The fences would make good sense to slow them down, and give them shots. My guess is with the manpower they will have soldiers covering every inch of fence. That is not being put in place because of a few thousand rowdy Trump fans. That is a deterrent to a storming by a massive Cabal force.

I'm not saying this is necessarily the case. We certainly aren't seeing everything that is happening right now. I'm merely pointing out that this is one credible explanation for a seemingly inexplicable observation. If you've got a better one, by all means, throw it out there.

UPDATE: an observation from SG:

Vox’s latest post has my spidey senses tingling from something I saw yesterday on the highway. 9 AM road trip 70 miles eastbound on the highway. I’m usually the fastest driver or close too it. I get passed maybe once out twice in an hour by people doing about 3mph more. Yesterday I got passed by about 15 cars all doing unexaggerated 100mph. License plates were from all over.

I heard multiple reports from eyewitnesses in Minneapolis concerning vehicles holding six or more out-of-towners that were speeding into and out of the city via Washington Avenue during the Floyd riots. Many of them were SUVs and did not have license plates.

Key Findings

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo urges Americans to read the report titled Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on U.S.Government Policy and Related Concerns by the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. The key findings:

  • In early 2015 the former Acting Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, George Kent, raised concerns to officials in Vice President Joe Biden’s office about the perception of a conflict of interest with respect to Hunter Biden’s role on Burisma’s board.  Kent’s concerns went unaddressed, and in September 2016, he emphasized in an email to his colleagues, “Furthermore, the presence of Hunter Biden on the Burisma board was very awkward for all U.S. officials pushing an anticorruption agenda in Ukraine.”
  • In October 2015, senior State Department official Amos Hochstein raised concerns with Vice President Biden, as well as with Hunter Biden, that Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board enabled Russian disinformation efforts and risked undermining U.S. policy in Ukraine.
  • Although Kent believed that Hunter Biden’s role on Burisma’s board was awkward for all U.S. officials pushing an anti-corruption agenda in Ukraine, the Committees are only aware of two individuals — Kent and former U.S. Special Envoy and Coordinator for International Energy Affairs Amos Hochstein — who raised concerns to Vice President Joe Biden (Hochstein) or his staff (Kent). The awkwardness for Obama administration officials continued well past his presidency.
  • Former Secretary of State John Kerry had knowledge of Hunter Biden’s role on Burisma’s board, but when asked about it at a town hall event in Nashua, N.H. on Dec. 8, 2019, Kerry falsely said, “I had no knowledge about any of that. None. No.”   Evidence to the contrary is detailed in Section V.
  • Former Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland testified that confronting oligarchs would send an anticorruption message in Ukraine.Kent told the Committees that Zlochevsky was an “odious oligarch.”  However, in December 2015, instead of following U.S. objectives of confronting oligarchs, Vice President Biden’s staff advised him to avoid commenting on Zlochevsky and recommended he say, “I’m not going to get into naming names or accusing individuals.”
  • Hunter Biden was serving on Burisma’s board (supposedly consulting on corporate governance and transparency) when Zlochevsky allegedly paid a $7 million bribe to officials serving under Ukraine’s prosecutor general, Vitaly Yarema, to “shut the case against Zlochevsky.” Kent testified that this bribe occurred in December 2014 (seven months after Hunter joined Burisma’s board), and, after learning about it, he and the Resident Legal Advisor reported this allegation to the FBI.
  • Hunter Biden was a U.S. Secret Service protectee from Jan. 29, 2009 to July 8, 2014.  A day before his last trip as a protectee, Time published an article describing Burisma’s ramped up lobbying efforts to U.S. officials and Hunter’s involvement in Burisma’s board. Before ending his protective detail, Hunter Biden received Secret Service protection on trips to multiple foreign locations, including Moscow, Beijing, Doha, Paris, Seoul, Manila, Tokyo, Mexico City, Milan, Florence, Shanghai, Geneva, London, Dublin, Munich, Berlin, Bogota, Abu Dhabi, Nairobi, Hong Kong, Taipei, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Johannesburg, Brussels, Madrid, Mumbai and Lake Como.
  • Andrii Telizhenko, the Democrats’ personification of Russian disinformation, met with Obama administration officials, including Elisabeth Zentos, a member of Obama’s National Security Council, at least 10 times.  A Democrat lobbying firm, Blue Star Strategies, contracted with Telizhenko from 2016 to 2017 and continued to request his assistance as recent as the summer of 2019.  A recent news article detailed other extensive contacts between Telizhenko and Obama administration officials.
  • In addition to the over $4 million paid by Burisma for Hunter Biden’s and Archer’s board memberships, Hunter Biden, his family, and Archer received millions of dollars from foreign nationals with questionable backgrounds.
  • Archer received $142,300 from Kenges Rakishev of Kazakhstan, purportedly for a car, the same day Vice President Joe Biden appeared with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arsemy Yasenyuk and addressed Ukrainian legislators in Kyiv regarding Russia’s actions in Crimea.
  • Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the wife of the former mayor of Moscow.
  • Hunter Biden opened a bank account with Gongwen Dong to fund a $100,000 global spending spree with James Biden and Sara Biden.
  • Hunter Biden had business associations with Ye Jianming, Gongwen Dong, and other Chinese nationals linked to the Communist government and the People’s Liberation Army. Those associations resulted in millions of dollars in cash flow.
  • Hunter Biden paid nonresident women who were nationals of Russia or other Eastern European countries and who appear to be linked to an “Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.”
This isn't the Cold War. This is something different. The China threat is already within our borders.
- Secretary of State Pompeo

Crank it up

The Internet drama goes to 11, courtesy of CDAN:

The internet host who has been banned everywhere, received a bunch of under the table crypto money was supposed to share the six figure windfall with several other people. He has stiffed all of them. Well, they probably won't kill him until they torture him for his digital wallet password.

This might explain why DLive suddenly went on its auto-banning frenzy, if certain individuals were using it to launder questionable gains.

Pentagon Confirms Military Will Not Hold Traditional Farewell Ceremony for Trump

Mailvox: you can smell their confidence

One thing I've noticed from the Legal Legion's battles is that the more angry, shrill, and threatening the other side gets, the closer they are to complete collapse. You're not seeing most of the comments being left here by the shills and blackpills, but I've started saving them for future amusement in the event that things don't turn out the way they all purport to believe.

Give me a fucking break. He's down to 29% total approval in national polls. Your delusional fantasies continue to amuse, though. I hope you enjoy the total Democratic control of both houses and the White House. Now eat shit, fascist.

- NickJanuary

He sounds calm and confident, doesn't he? He's clearly relaxed and happily anticipating all the healing and unity of the incipient Biden adminstration, right? What I'm hearing from the shills and blackpills tends to remind me of the false prophets of Ba'al, as they redoubled their desperate efforts to speak their desired reality into existence.

At noon Elijah started making fun of them: “Pray louder! He is a god! Maybe he is day-dreaming or relieving himself, or perhaps he's gone off on a trip! Or maybe he's sleeping, and you've got to wake him up!” So the prophets prayed louder and cut themselves with knives and daggers, according to their ritual, until blood flowed. They kept on ranting and raving until the middle of the afternoon; but no answer came, not a sound was heard.

- 1 Kings 18: 27-29

They're praying to their false gods in Britain too:

Why Britain must pray that Joe Biden can hold Fortress America… as thousands of US troops prepare to descend on an inauguration like no other.

Don't be surprised if the British government follows the example of the Dutch, Estonian, and Italian governments soon.

UPDATE: Wolf Blitzer is so sad.

I spotted these National Guard troops at a normal Washington street corner not even near the Capitol. So many streets have been closed. It reminds me of the war zones I saw in Baghdad or Mosul or Falluja. So sad.

Greatness or Ignominy?

AC points out that President Trump is defining his place in history this week.

Trump will either be remembered for all of time as the greatest leader in all of history, who went on to save the greatest nation in the world, against all odds, from the worst traitors the world has ever seen. Or he will be remembered as a leader who went all the way up to the finish line, and yet through betrayal by aides or defeat by the enemy, heart-breakingly failed to make it over the finish line and allowed the greatest, freest nation in the world to fall, probably more spectacularly than any nation in history ever has.

There is no way to overemphasize what we are watching. We still speak the names of Caesar and Brutus, and marvel at the fall of Rome today. Someday, it is entirely possible, likely even, that the events we are witnessing firsthand, will dwarf the story of Rome, and every other empire, in the history books. It is even possible, this story will mark the fall of an entity which was behind the fall of so many other empires before us, and yet was completely unknown until at this moment it was dragged into the light and slain by our God Emperor.

All we can do at this point is pray, watch, and hope. But I think we have a pretty good idea what path the God-Emperor has chosen at this point, given what U.S. troops were doing last night in Washington DC.

"They are stopping every car trying to get out of city on 23rd Street. Asking for ID."

And what is their exit strategy?

More than 20,000 national guardsmen are expected to deploy to the nation’s capital to provide additional security during President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20, but critics warn the National Guard appears to lack an exit strategy. “We have no metric for what success looks like,” said one high ranking officer. “Is it an hour after the man is sworn in? Is it when the protesters have all left? We just don’t know.”

I suspect we all know who does.

Trump support remains strong

The media's relentless demoralization campaign against President Trump's supporters has completely failed. His job approval rating has actually risen while being attacked by the Fake News and impeached by the Fake Congress that is attempting to install a Fake President:

On January 5, President Trump’s job approval rating with Rasmussen was 47 percent. Today, the president’s job approval is 48 percent.

The attack on Capitol Hill took place on January 6. Since then, there has been more than a week of 24/7, highly-coordinated media hysteria attacking the president as a traitor, as guilty of sedition, of being criminally liable for leading a violent coup against the United States of America … and his job approval rating is up a point.

Don’t pay any attention to media pollsters. Please don’t. They’re all crap. All liars. All proven liars who have been deceiving and lying to you for at least three election cycles. Rasmussen is one of the few pollsters you can trust, so when Rasmussen tells us Trump’s support has not slipped, you can not only believe it, you are offered the opportunity to wonder why.

The main reason why is that corporate media no longer have the power to sway public opinion. Look at what’s going on out there right now. You not only have the fake media accusing Trump of sedition and of starting a riot, you have all of Hollywood climbing on board and the Democrat Party impeaching him (again).

Trump was just impeached a second time, and his job approval rating hasn’t budged.

In other words, the media and Democrats and Hollywood are only talking amongst themselves. No one else is even listening. These institutions have turned it up to 11 for the past ten or so days, and have persuaded no one NO ONE to drop their support for Trump.

I expect that his job approval rating is going to rise considerably in the next week or so. Enjoy the show.

As many as 25,000 National Guard troops will be in Washington, D.C., for President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration next week, the Army confirmed on Friday. The Defense Department authorized up to 25,000 service members — an increase of 5,000 from numbers confirmed earlier this week — to support the “federal law enforcement mission and security preparations” in the inauguration, as led by the Secret Service, according to an Army statement.

Sports journalists are SJW masochists

Who really want to lose their jobs. That's the only thing you can conclude after reading this article at Sports Illustrated which celebrates the fact that Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari is consciously infuriating Kentucky basketball boosters by taking the BLM knee before Kentucky games.

When he took the knee, John Calipari had to know what was coming.

He’s lived in Kentucky, one of America’s reddest states, since 2009. In the November presidential election, Donald Trump captured 62 percent of the vote in the state and won 118 out of 120 counties—the only exceptions were the two biggest, Jefferson and Fayette, home to the University of Louisville and University of Kentucky, respectively. Jefferson might be the only county in the state that isn’t a majority UK fan base, and even here the Big Blue following is sizable.

In other words, it stands to reason that the fans who passionately follow Calipari’s team are overwhelmingly conservative Republicans. And conservative Republicans are overwhelmingly not in favor of athletes kneeling in protest during the national anthem—especially college athletes. And yet there was Cal joining his Kentucky players on one knee before the Wildcats played at Florida Saturday, three days after the deadly insurrection in Washington, D.C.

It was absolutely the time to make the statement. Risks and all. Maybe this was the eternally combative Cal picking a new fight—with his own constituency.

In that moment, a coach whose approval rating already had plunged after a 1-6 season start—worst for Kentucky in more than a century—took even more on his shoulders. In the authoritarian world of college sports, some coaches would have vetoed the idea altogether. Others would have tried to talk their players out of making a statement at a charged moment in time. Still others would have approved it but not participated.

Cal joined them, putting him on a very short list of college coaches who have taken a knee during the national anthem before a game.

Same SI journo six months later: "why come Coach Calipari lose job? why come ME lose job?" Because you know what is a great idea in a collapsing economy? Drive away everyone who provides the revenue.

Stanford: lockdowns accomplish nothing

Lockdowns and masks do nothing to prevent the spread of the dread coof:

A group of researchers at Stanford published a peer-reviewed study earlier this month assessing the impact of lockdowns and stay-at-home orders — what they refer to as non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) in early 2020. The study did not find evidence to support that NPIs were effective in preventing the spread.

“In summary, we fail to find strong evidence supporting a role for more restrictive NPIs in the control of COVID in early 2020,” the study concludes. “We do not question the role of all public health interventions, or of coordinated communications about the epidemic, but we fail to find an additional benefit of stay-at-home orders and business closures. The data cannot fully exclude the possibility of some benefits. However, even if they exist, these benefits may not match the numerous harms of these aggressive measures. More targeted public health interventions that more effectively reduce transmissions may be important for future epidemic control without the harms of highly restrictive measures.”

The study was co-authored by Dr. Eran Bendavid, Professor John P.A. Ioannidis, Christopher Oh, and Jay Bhattacharya. The lead author, Dr. Benadavid, is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at Stanford. The other authors collectively work in departments including the Department of Epidemiology and the Department of Biomedical Data Science. According to the Spectator, the study was published in the European Journal of Clinical Observation.

The group studied the effects of NPIs in 10 countries: England, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the United States, which had more restrictive measures, were compared to Sweden and South Korea, where measures were less restrictive. After they accounted for the less restrictive NPIs in South Korea and Sweden, they found “no clear, significant beneficial effect of more restrictive NPIs on case growth in any country.”

Of course, we can expect this study to be retracted once SCIENCE discovers that President Trump is still the President on January 21.

The mysterious collapse of governments

  • Germany's Angela Merkel has said she will step down as chancellor in 2021, following recent election setbacks. "I will not be seeking any political post after my term ends," she told a news conference in Berlin. She also said she would not seek re-election as leader of the centre-right CDU party in December. She has held the post since 2000.
  • Dutch Rutte government resigns over child welfare fraud scandal.
  • Italy's former premier Matteo Renzi said on Wednesday he was pulling his party's ministers from the cabinet, effectively leaving the ruling coalition without a majority in parliament. His decision, announced at a news conference, throws Italy into political chaos....
  • Estonia’s president on Thursday tasked the leader of the main opposition party to form a new government, a day after Prime Minister Juri Ratas and his Cabinet stepped down in the wake of a corruption scandal in Ratas' ruling Center Party.
  • Kuwait government to resign within 24 hours.

What an astonishing series of coincidences! Five governments collapsing in the same week? It can't possibly be an international prelude to the events of January 20, 2021, could it?

UPDATE: A Dutch reader emails to add that 42 of the 150 people in the Dutch parliament have announced that they will not run again in the next election.

On a possibly related note, here is another example of the intentional building of tension I demonstrated in last night's Darkstream. It was even more excruciating than is shown here, because the clip cuts short the breakdown, which in the Tokyo Dome concert extended for nearly a full three minutes before leading up to the crowd callback at 3.22. Notice in particular the way in which Su-metal, the lead singer, presides impassively over the breakdown doing nothing until the time comes to direct the crowd.

Enjoy the show.

Legal Legion saves arbitration

Patreon tried to destroy consumer arbitration in America. The Legal Legion stopped them.

This is a little complicated, and obviously I'm not a lawyer, but I'll try to explain what I am reliably informed by multiple sources has been taking place over the last two months in the Bears vs Patreon arbitrations. Keep in mind that these arbitrations are entirely separate matters from the Patreon vs Bears lawsuit, which has been underway since May in the San Francisco Superior Court.

Like all corporations that mandate arbitration but forbid group action in their terms of use, Patreon blanched at the cost of actually paying for all the arbitrations that its contract with its users requires it to pay. This is normal, and every company that has been hit by mass arbitrations from employees or consumers, from Uber to Doordash, has desperately - and unsuccessfully - tried to get out of paying for the costs that its own lawyers required it to pay when they wrote the contract that was forced upon its users or employees. I've written in some detail about the irony of these entirely predictable reactions in Corporate Cancer.

Patreon behaved like all the other corporations before it in trying to evade these obligatory expenses, which is why it filed the lawsuit against the Bears in order to try to stop the arbitrations. That lawsuit is doomed to fail, just like all the other previous corporations' lawsuits have, which is presumably why Patreon's lawyers came up with a clever, and very nasty, little legal trick that is based on a little-known California law called 998. It's complicated, I'd never even heard of it, and I'm still not sure I understand it completely despite reading through it several times, but basically it works like this:

  1. One party makes an offer to declare the second party the winner. This offer is monetary and may or may not include an offer to pay the second party's legal fees.
  2. If the second party accepts the offer, it's over.
  3. If the second party does not accept the offer, the first party has the right to have all of its legal fees and legal costs paid by the second party if the second party does not win an award that is greater than the amount offered by the first party.

It's a sort of legal ju-jitsu, in which one party's victory in court or arbitration can be transformed into a massively expensive defeat by a properly calibrated 998 offer. Fortunately, the Legal Legion immediately recognized that the way these offers put the Bears in potential danger of being forced to pay Patreon's legal costs was an obvious violation of the JAMS rules as well as the California consumer protection laws. So, they objected to the offers and pointed out how the offers were a violation of JAMS policy as well as the law. JAMS agreed and banned the offers, but Patreon objected to the ban, so JAMS said its version of the Supreme Court, which interprets the JAMS rules and sets its official policies, would permit all of the interested parties to make their points about the pros and cons of the ban.

Patreon made its arguments, the Legal Legion presented its arguments, and I'm told that yesterday, the JAMS Supreme Court affirmed the JAMS ban on 998 offers in consumer arbitration, which means that Patreon's most recent attempt to escape its growing arbitration and legal costs is as dead as all of the previous attempts made by every other corporation that requires arbitration when actually faced with it.

But this victory is arguably more important than the others, because I'm told that Patreon's 998 tactic, if successful, would have completely eliminated consumer arbitration in California, which is where most US technology corporations are headquartered. So this is not only good news for the Bears, it is good news for America. It is probably not, however, good news for DLive....

CNN stormed the Capitol

Sounds like insurrection on the part of the media to me:

CNN’s Jade Sacker penetrating the Capitol with a member of BLM/Antifa cheering, “We did it!” And then asking her conspirator if he was filming, he said he’d delete it, he lied. CNN was in on it.

To make this clear. CNN was embedded with BLM/Antifa pretending to be Trump supporters videoing them incite a riot. This is freaking huge. If CNN is allowed to maintain its press access anywhere in DC there needs to be a serious overhaul of our entire system.

According to sources she was working on a CNN project, but she's done a lot of work for NBC and NPR.

Now some of President Trump's comments denouncing the "rioters" are beginning to make a lot more sense. As for all those media charges of "insurrection", remember, SJWs always project.

Twitter, of course, is in on it:

We do intend to do the full retro as I said in my note, it is going to take some time. And then the other thing, just to close out a little bit: we are focused on one account right now. But this is going to be much bigger than just one account. And it's going to go on for much longer than just this day, this week. And the next few weeks and go on beyond the inauguration. We have to expect that, we have to be ready for that.'

So, the focus is certainly on this account and how it ties to real world violence. But also we need to think much longer term around how these dynamics play out over time. I don't believe this is going away any time soon. And the moves that we're making today around QAnon for instance, one such example of a much broader approach we should be looking at and going deeper on.

So the team has a lot of work and a lot of focus on this particular issue. But we also need to give them the space and the support to focus on the much bigger picture. Because it is not going away.

No doubt we can look forward to Jack Dorsey deplatforming CNN soon. In the meantime, get off Twitter. Get off Facebook. And support the alternate platforms! If you're not on UATV and SG yet, you really should be, because you're going to want to know what is happening.

False flag confirmed

At least partially, anyhow, as one arrested "MAGA protester" turns out to be BLM:

The FBI has arrested #BlackLivesMatter self-described anti-fascist John Sullivan for leading the charge during the insurrection at the Capitol. Sullivan goaded the first casualty of the event to climb through a window just before she was killed.

The FBI alleged that moments before breaching the Capitol's security John Sullivan told a crowd of disguised counter-protesters, "we about to burn this s--- down, we got to rip Trump out of office, f---ing pull him out of that s---, we ain't waiting until the next election... we about to go get that mother----, it is time for a revolution."

Shortly afterward Sullivan could be heard goading Ashli Babbitt to jump through a window as he filmed her being shot and killed by law enforcement.

Not everything you think you see is real.

She's gone, Jim

Fake Right site Parler is dead, having accomplished its objective of doxxing tens of thousands of clueless conservatives who didn't hesitate to go from the frying pan of Twitter right into the dumpster fire.

Social media site Parler may never come back online after Amazon dropped the conservative-friendly platform from its servers, its CEO said, as the company insists in court that its termination was motivated by “political animus.”

Parler CEO John Matze told Reuters on Wednesday that the website’s future is in limbo after a cascade of online vendors rushed to distance themselves from the platform in the wake of an eruption of violence at the US Capitol last week, saying he doesn’t know if it will ever bounce back.

“It could be never. We don’t know yet,” he said. “It’s hard to keep track of how many people are telling us that we can no longer do business with them.”

Build. Your. Own. Platforms. Get off the enemy's turf. Support the genuine alternatives. Anything else is completely pointless.

Do. The. Math.

I wasn't worried at all before. But this morning, I couldn't help laughing.

The inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will conclude with a star-studded primetime special. The “Celebrating America” program will be carried live by ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC and online from 8:30 to 10 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, Jan. 20.

The show will be hosted by actor Tom Hanks and will include performances by singers Demi Lovato, Justin Timberlake, Ant Clemons, and Jon Bon Jovi. It will also feature remarks from Biden and Harris.

My first thought was that this had to be a joke, but apparently it's not. I always wondered how those medieval kings pulled things like this off... I mean, how on Earth did they not see it coming?

Now consider this. I was kicked off Twitter years ago. I've had nothing to do with it since. Why would anyone there even know, let alone care about, what I'm posting on my personal blog?

Had to stop looking at twitter. So much trash talking VD over there today.

UPDATE: They're even bringing in an Illuminati whore. I'm just surprised Jay-Z and Beyonce aren't being featured as well.

Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez will perform at the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden on January 20.

Be patient, everyone

If you can't trust the plan, trust the President. If you can't trust the President because you're feeling too anxious about events and the relentless demoralization campaign that is being performed for your benefit, remember, all the tea leaves in the world will determine absolutely nothing.

Of course you're anxious to see action. Joseph Stalin was practically SCREAMING for the Normandy invasion for years before it happened. And yet, not even Eisenhower knew the precise day, since after years of preparation, he wasn't able to launch it on June 5th as planned, and had to hold off for a day due to inclement weather.

So relax. There is no reason, none whatsoever, to believe things aren't proceeding precisely as they are supposed to proceed. The double envelopment is taking place. The enemy legions are trapped and helpless. I won't even think about worrying until 48 hours AFTER someone else is sworn in as POTUS. I am, quite frankly, more than a little excited to watch it all unfold. This is the sort of history about which we have only hitherto been able to read.

And if the time comes and things don't go as we expect, then we fight in the shade.

Regardless, the Dread Ilk are feared; they do not fear.

If you happen think you have ANY idea what's going on behind the scenes based upon the media coverage, rest assured that you don't. There is apparently a MASSIVE trial of the Calabrian mafia that began today, and there is not one single word of it in the Italian media. We first caught word about it in the French media before it was covered by the English media.

Rome — One of Italy's biggest ever mafia trials in history kicked off Wednesday in southern Italy. Hundreds of defendants are accused of working for a heinous criminal enterprise with tentacles reaching so far around the world, it reportedly makes more money selling drugs than McDonald's does selling burgers.

There are more than 350 suspects in this case, among them politicians and other officials accused of being 'Ndrangheta members. About 900 witnesses will offer testimony against them, and about 400 lawyers are also involved in the massive trial, which will be made even more complicated by the coronavirus pandemic.

Authorities had to construct a high-security, high-capacity courtroom with space for 1,000 people – socially distanced – just for the trial.

On the other hand, this huge mafia trial could be cover for something else, given that "politicians and other officials" are being arrested as the government collapses....

If at first you don't succeed

Impeach, and impeach again:

TEN Republicans join Democrats to impeach Trump for a second time - by 230 votes to 197 - for 'incitement of insurrection', but Senate leader Mitch McConnell rules out trial until AFTER president leaves office.

I've never been more convinced that The Storm is approaching. Seriously, what on Earth could possibly be the point of this? Or, more pointedly, what on Earth is this supposed to prevent?

Also, in what may or may not be related news, the Italian government is looking very likely to collapse before this weekend. This means Matteo Salvini should be the favorite to return to power at the head of Lega in the elections that the unstable PD-M5-IV alliance was formed to prevent.

Based Uganda

More sovereign states should follow Uganda's example and completely ban the seditious big social media companies from operating inside their borders:

The government of Uganda has disabled Twitter within its borders for election interference, days after oligarch Jack Dorsey took initiative to suspend accounts supportive of President Yoweri Museveni.

President Museveni is known as a devout Christian, and has been the target of animosity from western governments and global corporations his his staunch opposition to homosexualism. Uganda’s election is scheduled for Thursday, and the state has suspended Facebook and Twitter’s services for systemic bias against his National Resistance Movement.

“That social channel you are talking about, if it is going to operate in Uganda, it should be used equitably by everybody who wants to use it,” Museveni said of Twitter and Facebook. “If you want to take sides against the National Resistance Movement, then that group will not operate in Uganda.”

The Big Tech platform commenced to whine up a storm after facing consequences for censorship, conveniently dismissing the reality that they were engaged in a wide-ranging campaign to censor figures associated with President Museveni, just days before a national election.

What a pity President Trump hasn't yet shown himself to be as courageous a leader as President Museveni. Twitter really has no grounds for complaint. Uganda is a sovereign nation and a foreign corporation like Twitter has no right to operate there if the Ugandan government doesn't wish to permit it to do so.

Avoid like the plague

The Dark Herald reviews the BBC's sadistic assassination of Terry Pratchett's finest literary legacy,

This show hates me.  And it feels quite personal.

I mean, ran over your dog, backed up and did it again, burned down your house, then sent your wife and children to the gas chambers personal. That is the level of individual hatred I felt directed at me while I was viewing The Watch. I am quite serious when I say that this show is the product of extreme mental illness.

Absolute, abject hatred of its source material is evident in every aspect of this production.

The Watch’s art style is a discordant series of nightmare images meant to evoke disgust.  It’s walking into Wonderland and finding Alice’s bloody severed head as the center piece of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. It’s a Middle-Earth where Sauron prevailed, and Frodo is now one of Nazgul....

It starts with Nobby Knobs meeting with Death. Or at least that is what any fan of the series who was Blissfully unaware of the horrors he was about to endure would assume. They didn’t really get Death right. in the book’s Death is more traditionally a grim Reaper figure consisting of cloak, skeleton and scythe. Here he was more of a giant robot with clawed hands and glowing eyes in the hood. So, they missed the mark there, but they got Nobby Nobs completely right. Nobby is the only person on Discworld that has to carry a certificate that reads: “I, after hearing evidence from a number of experts, including Mrs. Slipdry the midwife, certify that the balance of probability is that the bearer of this document, C.W. St John Nobbs, is a human being. Signed, Lord Vetinari.”  They did brilliantly there.

Except that it turns out Nobby isn’t in this series at all.  Neither is Fred Colon come to that.

No, the guy you thought was Nobby is actually Captain Sam Vimes. This wasn’t trying to meet the mark and missed, this wasn’t even an attempt to try something “a little more modern.”  They would have just race swapped Vimes if that was what these talentless clods were trying to do.  This was the deliberate character assassination of the character of “Sam Vimes, White Patriarchal Male.”

There is a difference between deconstruction and total ablation.

Actually, Frodo as The Tenth Nazgul sounds vastly more interesting than this unmitigated abomination. At this point, I'm beginning to think that Arkhaven isn't so much one of the little mammals skittering around the feet of the entertainment industry dinosaurs as the proverbial asteroid.

YouTube bans the President

The most spectacular deplatforming cascade in the history of social media cyberpurges continues with YouTube:

YouTube has announced that it pulled new content from US President Donald Trump’s verified channel and blocked it from uploading new videos for at least a week, citing violations of its policy against inciting violence.

In a statement late on Tuesday, YouTube said that the Trump channel was issued a strike over unspecified “new content,” and pursuant to its long-standing policy, “is now prevented from uploading new videos or live streams for a minimum of seven days.”

The video-sharing platform, which was the only major social medium still carrying Trump’s message after the president was purged from both Twitter and Facebook, did not rule out the possibility of the week-long ban being extended further.

Comments under all videos on Trump’s channel have been suspended “indefinitely,” YouTube said, noting that this was a standard practice for the cases “involving safety concerns.”

The ban did not quite come out of the blue. Earlier on Tuesday, an umbrella group of civil rights organizations vowed to pressure YouTube advertisers to drop the platform if it fails to follow Twitter and Facebook’s suit in blocking Trump’s accounts.

That's a bold move, Cotton. We'll see how it turns out for them.

Evil doesn't care about hypocrisy

If you don't understand that yet, perhaps Twitter's brave and stunning stance against election-related censorship will suffice to make it clear to you.

Twitter is openly condemning internet service providers blocking social media apps in the run-up to an election in Uganda as it takes criticism for alleged censorship on its own platform.

“Ahead of the Ugandan election, we're hearing reports that Internet service providers are being ordered to block social media and messaging apps,” the social media giant posted in a statement on Tuesday.

“We strongly condemn internet shutdowns – they are hugely harmful, violate basic human rights and the principles of the #OpenInternet,” the statement continued.

The company argued that “access to information and freedom of expression, including the public conversation on Twitter, is never more important than during democratic processes, particularly elections.”

Every country should simply ban Twitter. And if you're on Twitter, get off it now. The Big Tech companies are exactly like Freddie Krueger. They have no power over you if you refuse to acknowledge their existence.

I was talking yesterday to someone about the idiocy of the Cult of Free. It's astonishing that so many people are still reluctant to give up Twitter, Facebook, and other free social media, when they now know, beyond any shadow of the doubt, that the cost of using their "free" applications can very easily be your job and even your career.

The Olde Speech

The Forge of Tolkien episode 19, THE OLDE SPEECH, is now available on #UATV.

In December 1954, Hugh Brogan wrote to Tolkien to complain about the “archaizing” style of parts of The Lord of the Rings, particularly the chapter “The King of the Golden Hall.” Tolkien drafted his response but never sent it, deferring a proper discussion to a time when they could meet in person. When is archaizing “tushery,” and when is it necessary? What is the difference between a bogus and a genuinely “antique” turn of phrase?

In this episode Professor Rachel Fulton Brown reads the “linking” passage in The Book of Lost Tales taking Eriol from the hall of the Tale-fire to Rumil’s garden to illustrate Tolkien’s process in discovering his proper style. What did Tolkien mean when he told Brogan he found it easier to think in an archaic mode, and why did he chide Brogan for his “parochialism of time”? Hint: The distance is as great as that between Globe Earth and Flat Earth!

President Trump in Texas

I have to admit, I have absolutely no idea what President Trump is attempting to accomplish here with this speech, rambling as he is about immigration and welfare and taxpayers and protecting American workers at this point in time. It's rather like Pompeo's speech yesterday, which completely and obviously ignored the herd of elephants in the room.

UPDATE: Michael Yon is reporting that it's all over but for the arrests.

INSURRECTION ACT has NOT been invoked. State of emergency invoked here in DC. Have been with Rudy Giuliani past two days. I would know if Insurrection Act invoked, and so would you.

Trump will leave office. Biden is in. This is a fact. I don’t make the facts but I do report them. I would not be surprised at all if Trump, Don Junior, and Rudy Giuliani are charged and arrested soon.

I am seeing many things that you are not seeing. All the above is true, and more.

Perhaps. Or, perhaps not. Remember what I've said about these not being ordinary times. Disinformation is the order of the day and here are no points or cash prizes for being the first to surrender or despair.

You are part of the problem

Larry Correia admits, on Facebook, that he is part of the problem:

Most of us who stay here do it because this is where we built an audience/community before the bait and switch. We feel stuck, and thus, we are part of the problem. I personally, am part of the problem. I stay here making content they profit off of, because this is where I’ve got the audience. I’ve been trying to move my audience elsewhere… only to discover that the company that runs my blog server and the company that processes my mailing list are willing to engage in the exact same behavior.

The Monster Hunter is right. And the only solution is to bite the bullet and take decisive action. Reject Satan in ALL his pomps. There is no better time to rip off the bandage. Because it's not going to get any easier as time goes on.

We have all been part of the problem. That's exactly why I left Mailchimp last week.

The silence of the boards

Everything is quiet. Very quiet. Could it be... the calm before The Storm?

Or perhaps everyone is just conspiracied out for the time being. At this point, I think I'd greet the announcement that a Sino-Pakistani alliance has declared war on India and Japan has announced in response that it is now a full-scale nuclear power with secret missile bases on the Moon with a yawn and a shrug.

Don't worry about it. Read a book. Learn your culture. Go for a walk. Work out. Get some rest, because it looks like we're going to be in for an exciting week that begins tomorrow, one way or another.

Clay Travis goes after Big Tech

The head of Outkick the Coverage hammers Amazon, Google, and the rest of the corpocratic tech elite:

Amazon, a company founded to sell books and promote the free exchange of ideas more efficiently, effectively enacted the largest modern-day book burning in world history by shutting down Parler. Amazon’s message was clear: if we don’t like your political perspective, you have no right to reach an audience on the Internet.

This should terrify every American.

And how about Google here? Google’s pledge upon its founding was to organize all the information in the world and to do no harm. That was literally written into their corporate charter. And now they are selectively removing information they don’t like from the marketplace of ideas, which makes the information they cite less reliable. It’s a total refutation of their founders’ aims.

Apple may be even worse. Apple has specifically censored its own content to avoid offending China. The company literally said it would produce no content that upsets China. Now, they are selectively eliminating political opinions from the public discourse that they don’t like .

Honest question: how do Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Apple’s Tim Cook, and Google’s Sundar Pichal, the three leaders of these companies, sleep at night? The same is true of Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter’s Jack Dorsey. Are they aware of what their companies are doing, or are they just sleepwalking our country into a Chinese-like Internet state? Are they really this afraid of people saying bad things about them online? How is there no billionaire tech champion for free speech in the country?

It’s not courageous to do what everyone else does in times of tumult and tempest. It’s courageous to stand up for the marketplace of ideas when everyone is screaming for censorship. That’s true courage. Is there no one out there in Big Tech who will stand up and say, “I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it?” Or are they all cowards?

As a result of monopolistic collusion on the part of Big Tech, Parler can no longer be downloaded, and it may soon be removed from the Internet entirely. Again, this is a modern-day technological book-burning lit afire by three of the biggest American tech companies in the world.

Instead of the government restricting speech, you have three “different” trillion dollar companies — Amazon, Google, and Apple — colluding to reach the same exact view at the same exact time. They are using their monopolistic market clout to effectively tell Parler it can’t exist. They are using their marketplace dominance not only to destroy the marketplace of ideas but to destroy the marketplace, period.

American Big Tech has become our own Frankenstein version of China.

Those who claim these deplatformings and bannings are not censorship "because private corporations" are being disingenuous. A corporation is not an actual person, it is a government entity that is deemed "a juristic person" by the government. Corporations are not people, they have no unalienable rights, and it is long past time for the people to begin reining them in.
