You can now purchase Bullet train tickets from Tokyo to Iiyama station online here (new option for 2019). Train tickets are currently available for purchase up to one month in advance. To book bullet train tickets online, please follow the steps below:

1. Select the train 'Hokuriku Shinkansen (Tokyo ~ Kanazawa)'
2. Departure station: Tokyo (or Ueno if you prefer to depart from this station in Tokyo)
3. Arrival station: Iiyama
4. Click search and follow the booking procedure.

Getting to Nozawa Onsen from Narita Airport

It takes approximately 4 hours to get from Narita Airport to Nozawa Onsen by train. You can purchase your train ticket online or from Narita Airport right through to Iiyama station (station closest to Nozawa Onsen). You can buy round trip tickets.

1. Take the Narita Express (NEX) train from the Airport to Tokyo Station.
2. Change to the Hokuriku Shinkansen (Bullet train) from Tokyo Station to Iiyama Station.
3. Change to the Nozawa Onsen Liner bus from Iiyama Station to Nozawa Onsen (cash only).
4. Exit the bus at the NAKAO bus stop in Nozawa Onsen for nozawasnow Guesthouse (walking directions are at the bottom of this page)

Total journey price: 12,350 yen (approx).

The Narita express train departs approximately every 30 minutes from 7:44am - 21:44.

Getting to Nozawa Onsen from Haneda Airport

It takes about 3 1/2 hours to get from Haneda Airport to Nozawa Onsen by train/monorail.

1. Take the Monorail from the Airport to Hamamatsucho station.
2. Change to the JR Yamanote subway line to Tokyo Station.
3. Change to the Hokuriku Shinkansen (Bullet train) from Tokyo Station to Iiyama Station.
4. Change to the Nozawa Onsen Liner bus from Iiyama Station to Nozawa Onsen (cash only).
5. Exit the bus at the NAKAO bus stop in Nozawa Onsen for nozawasnow Guesthouse (walking directions are at the bottom of this page)

Total journey price: 10,000 yen (approx).

Getting to Nozawa Onsen from Tokyo city

It takes 2 hours from Tokyo Station to Nozawa Onsen.

1. Take the Hokuriku Bullet train from Tokyo Station to Iiyama Station.
2. Change to the Nozawa Onsen Liner bus from Iiyama Station to Nozawa Onsen (cash only).
3. Exit the bus at the NAKAO bus stop in Nozawa Onsen for nozawasnow Guesthouse. (walking directions are at the bottom of this page)

Total cost: 9,330 yen (approx)

Taking the Nozawa Onsen Liner bus from Iiyama station to nozawasnow guesthouse.

1. Take the Nozawa Onsen Liner bus from Iiyama train station to the Nakao bus stop in Nozawa Onsen. Please press the stop button on the bus as the screen on the bus shows 'Nakao' as the next stop.
2. Continue walking in the same direction as the bus is heading (up the road, 7 minutes, 550 meters).
3. Continue Walking past the ENEOS petrol station.
4. On the corner on the right side of the street you will see 'Playce' restaurant. turn right and walk up this street.
5. nozawasnow is located on the second street to the left directly opposite Tonkichi Okonomiyaki restaurant. 

If you miss Nakao station, 'Shinden' is next stop and is almost the same walking distance. If you miss both stops, the final stop is the 'Chuo terminal' which is also within 10 minute walking distance of Nozawasnow guesthouse. Everything is Nozawa Onsen is within walking distance.


TRAINS FROM KANSAI AIRPORT AND OSAKA/KYOTO

    From Kansai Airport (KIX) / Osaka

    It takes 5 hours and 20 minutes from Kansai International airport to Nozawa Onsen by train.

    1. Take the Haruka Airport express train to Shin-Osaka Station.
    2. Change to the Thunderbird express train to Kanazawa Station.
    3. Change to the Hokuriku bullet train to Iiyama Station.
    4. Change to the Nozawa Onsen Liner bus from Iiyama Station to Nozawa Onsen (cash only).
    5. Exit the bus at the NAKAO bus stop in Nozawa Onsen for Nozawasnow guesthouse

    Total journey price: 16,720 yen (approx).

    From Kyoto

    It takes 4 hours to get from Kyoto Station to Nozawa Onsen by train.

    1. Take the Thunderbird express train from Kyoto Station to Kanazawa Station.
    2. Change to the Hokuriku bullet train to Iiyama station.
    3. Change to the Nozawa Onsen Liner bus from Iiyama Station to Nozawa Onsen (cash only).
    4. Exit the bus at the NAKAO bus stop in Nozawa Onsen for Nozawasnow guesthouse.
