I don't like violent protests, but I understand them. And those wagging their fingers against violent protests need to read up on their American history.

I mean, for crying out loud, the "Tea Party" so many of the finger waggers align with today was literally NAMED AFTER a violent protest of looting property destruction.

Also, and I don't feel like this should need to be pointed out, property is insured and can be replaced. Lives cannot. Check your priorities, America.

This has gone way beyond protests. It’s unlawful looting and vandalism. The police and National Guard need to start protecting people and businesses. Enough of this crap!

The violence was also started by police, in multiple cities per reports from people on the ground.

Protestors were dragged from lunch stools, busses, cars and their own homes while crosses burned in their yards. They were beaten, murdered, lynched. They were followed, surveilled and wiretapped. MLK was assassinated for Christ sake. This meme is bullshit. Check your priorities.

As a white man I can only listen, learn and empathize with the pain and rage but a very high percentage of people I see breaking windows and burning businesses are frail pasty white men so I’m not sure what’s going on here. Bernie Bris get bored?

Why should anyone care that they died? People die all the time, they probably had some underlying condition that contributed, if not caused to their death.

I know that not ALL Cops are bad but I do know most are white. Most of those in authority are also white where white supremacy can flourish. That’s the problem.

Watch the press conference right now. This is organized alt right activity. The militia displays were just the warmup. They showed that they can operate with impunity. These are not “riots” or protests. It is organized terror by white supremacists. Not about protest anymore.

I’d love for Sally Kohn to tell us how many black-American-owned shops were destroyed during the Boston Tea Party. I missed that part in history class.

Weird, I guess I missed the tales of the fathers of the American revolution burning down their local butcher shop and looting their neighborhood tailor and slaughtering their horses.

Well, they did run down Customs collectors with rope, tar and feathers and set fire to their homes.

Money and property is all America gives a crap about. A peaceful protest, no matter how large is ignored. Can't ignore stuff when it hits you in the wallet. No siree.

You know the reason they are against the protests is because it’s the BLM and their allies. We see how they dismiss the neo-nazis, militias, alt right as “good people”. Their racism & the double standard gives them away every time.

They dumped the tea overboard because they were taxed without representation; these rioters not only have representation, but it's doubtful that any of them pays a net cent in taxes. They can pay their debt to society for the damage they've done by rotting in jail until they die.

Did you feel the same about peaceful anti-lockdown demonstrations in Michigan and elsewhere?

They also have a right to protest, but it was the law for every person to stay 6’ away from one another. Watch recent protests in Israel, they planned it out well. Also no one should bring guns into a government building EVER. Guns are for personal defense only.

If there was justice someone would loot & burn down Sally home. While lecturing her on her privilege & lack of historical knowledge.

When I see someone say,
"X, but... Y" what they usually mean is, "I really mean Y which completely negates what I just said X".
