Where are imported pictures and videos located?
I imported some video from my handy cam and they were placed in my "imported pictures and Video" file, but when i tried to find them via the search tool accessible by the windows button, it could not find "Imported pictures and Videos". i have spent a half hour trying to find them but the computer seems to have no such file called "Imported pictures and videos". Of course, I checked my regular videos and pictures file and found nothing... Why is this folder nowhere to be found? Much appreciated if anyone could help me out here...
Thank you. |

do you have any software for the handy cam installed, this would have the folder associated with it perhaps ,
if not, try import another picture and see if you can see the path to the location for the folder. its possible it asked you for the location when you first installed it. also have you looked in your users folder under documents or pictures, ( i know its an obvious, but you may have overlooked it.) |

Location of Imported Pictures and Videos
Although the file name on the top bar appears to be "Imported Pictures and Videos" the pictures that are imported are in your "My Pictures" folder, with a folder name given by the date of the import, e.g. "2013-12-28".

Imported Pictures and Videos
The imported pictures and videos can be found if you go to the start button, then all programs, and then click on Windows Live Photo Gallery.
