For instance, the Directive provides for an exemption to the exclusive right of reproduction and communication to the public when it is made for the sole purpose of illustration for teaching or scientific research, as long as the source, including the author's name, is indicated, unless this turns out to be impossible and to the extent justified by the non-commercial purpose to be achieved.
Another exemption is - reproduction by the press, communication to the public or making available of published articles on current economic, political or religious topics or of broadcast works or other subject-matter of the same character, in cases where such use is not expressly reserved, and as long as the source, including the author's name, is indicated, or use of works or other subject-matter in connection with the reporting of current events, to the extent justified by the informatory purpose and as long as the source, including the author's name, is indicated, unless this turns out to be impossible.
All the exceptions must comply with the three step test which imply that exemptions must only apply in certain special cases (1) which do not conflict with a normal exploitation of the work or other subject-matter (2) and do not unreasonably prejudice the legitimate interests of the rightholder (3).

Every single conservative radio show host, and I mean every one I have heard, are bashing Ron Paul because they are afraid. I used to listen to Michael Savage and overlooked his ill informed rants against marijuana (while advocating alcohol which does far more damage). I looked past his problem with atheists, of which I happen to be, because he was spot on with the rest... but one night I was listening after a long work day and he was accusing Ron Paul and millions of supporters of being anti-semitic.
I understand calling the left wingers anti-semitic (even the jewish ones) but Ron Paul? Really? Then I flipped over to Mark Levin who's voice I can only take for about 2 minutes during commercial breaks and he was rabidly blasting RP as well. I was like WTF is going on?
Then I saw O'Reilly on Fox going after him. It was bad enough how they ignored him like all the others but this was the last straw. Foxnews is becoming no better than MSNBC is catering to the Neocon establishment that thinks big government evil unless its big military industrial media complex, then its AOK.
The hypocrisy ruins the credibility of the GOP and as the lesser of two evils, this is not a good thing. Even the local morning show this morning had to go there. Don't they understand they are turning off the future?
They say he's not conservative but he's the only one that has actually voted down every single hairbrained spending bill presented to him in the congress. HE IS REPRESENTING his constituency and fighting against expansive government that is the cause of all the problems or at least it amplifies them.
I admit I laughed at him in 2008... now who's laughing?
As white people are replaced and the superstitious religious die out, the GOP will either evolve or go the way of the dodo bird. They will either recruit the other half of hispanics under the spell of socialism or be unable to win anything but local elections. The younger people who understand individual liberty, the military, and anyone who cares about the constitution are on board, and now I am too.
If anyone thinks Rick Santorum can win with all his Satan voodoo stuff and catholic morality that catholics have been ignoring for 50 years, they are fooling themselves.
And for those that say he is an isolationist, if you actually listen to him, he says declare war if you want war... do it within the constitution.
Look at the animals killing people over the burning a book. They don't think twice about burning our flag (which means a lot more than that book if you are a rational person) but they will kill over burning a book. A friggin book. If I burn a bible or a torah will anyone try and kill me? No... These people are 7th century throwbacks and trying "nation build" their dusty rocks is a waste of our money and blood.
Can anyone tell me how putting boots on the ground in the middle of those retards is good for anyone?
Declare war, do some old fashion carpet bombing and bring our troops home to patrol the boarder.
But instead we have some trotskyite apologizing for someone burning a book while they slit people's throats and burn our flag? REALLY?
Bring out troops home.
Dismantle the federal reserve.
Repeal obamacare
Balance the budget.
Stop the brave new animal farm....
