Swords are the primary weapon the player uses throughout the game. While technically a melee weapon, swords can eventually reach across the entire battlefield. Each sword has its own weapon level and enchantment levels that can be modified by the player. With the exception of the Katana, swords start at level 1 with no enchantments.
Each sword level adds an additional point that can be spent on increasing the width (min 0) or the length (min 1) of the sword (up to 9999). Each point spent increases width or length by 10% of the base value.
If one element on a sword is higher than the rest, the sword will take on that element's color.
Sword damage is Strength + sword level + elemental bonus (if applicable). The player can switch between swords at the Inn.
Dagger[edit | edit source]
The Dagger is the player's starting sword. It starts at level 1 with no enchantments. When attacking, the Dagger is slightly longer on the top edge.
Katana[edit | edit source]
The Katana can be bought from the Antique Store, in Area 1, for 250 Gold. Unlike the other swords, the Katana starts at level 2 with one level of Fire. When attacking, the Katana is slightly longer on the top edge. It is a little over half the width of other swords.
Claymore[edit | edit source]
The Claymore can be bought from the Port, in Area 5, for 100,000 Gold. It starts at level 1 with no enchantments. When attacking, the Claymore is slightly longer in the middle, and shorter on the top and bottom edges.
Scimitar[edit | edit source]
The Scimitar can be bought from the Port, in Area 5, for 100,000 gold. It starts at level 1 with no enchantments. When attacking, the Scimitar curves downwards, and then curves back up near the tip. It is possible to correct this through careful management of length and width.
Zweihander[edit | edit source]
The Zweihander can be bought from the Port, in Area 5, for 100,000 gold. It starts at level 1 with no enchantments. The Zweihander is a rectangle with equal length on the top and bottom edges, making it the most predictable, and therefore one of the most useful, of the six swords.
Energy Blade[edit | edit source]
The Energy Blade is obtained from the Doppelganger. It starts at level 1 with no enchantments. The Energy Blade is unique in that its segments flicker back and forth over time. This means that, if the Energy Blade is too wide, it could miss some enemies along the course of an attack. It is roughly three times as long as other swords.
