Maybe the solution to the "problem" of blackwashing is for writers to include characters who are minorities in their stories all along?
I live in NH & even in one of the whitest states I know people who are Black, Hispanic, & Asian, so my stories can realistically include them.

It funny how the only thing they point
as evidence to black washing is freaking Urban Dictionary I can't stand them there was an event called Nativevember which don't get me wrong I loved the event but those assays barley went after it or went hard on it as blacktober.
