Deities like Ganesha used to be worshipped in China earlier (that you see in Japan today) but got banned during the Tang rule under emperor Wuzong for being of foreign origin. This ban wasn't on Abrahamic or monotheistic religions but all imported ones in general.

The others all had their states like the Roman empire and Ethiopian and Armenian kingdoms declare their sect as the state religion There has never been any independent nation/kingdom with Nestorianism as its official religion. Even in Iraq + Syria, they were under rule of others

(not gained through displays of power, bribery or force unlike the others) but just debate and convincing. They operated under non-Christian (Zoroastrian and later Muslim) rule the entire time and did not have a Christian state behind them or laws to impose.

Church of the East, unlike the Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Armenian churches etc., never had any armies or coercive state power or backing when proselytizing (and there was no way they could haul bags of rice across Asia) so their converts were the most genuine

When the Mongols were mass converted to Tibetan Buddhism during the reign of Altan Khan in the 16th century, the Tibetan Buddhist Lamas viciously persecuted the Tengrist Shamanists and smashed their idols, paying Tengrists to convert + building temples without permission.

There was no "pagan" or "Abrahamic" or "monotheistic" label attached to these. The Tang emperor Taizong allowed these religions in and the later Tang emperor Wuzong banned all of them on the grounds of being heretical or foreign origin.

Church of the East was allowed to proselytize + exist in China for two centuries along with Zoroastrianism, Manichaeism and Buddhism. When China banned foreign origin religions in 844, it banned all at once, Zoroastrianism, Manichaeism, Buddhism, Nestorianism, etc

China also didn't see things from a pagan vs "Abrahamic" dichotomy. When Nestorianism came to China, the Tang dynasty of China regarded it as another religion along with Manichaeism, Zoroastrianism + Buddhism and did not have conception of monotheist or Abrahamic.

Tibetan Buddhists also acted in Mongolia like Spanish Catholics did in the Americas. The Churhc of the East (now Assyrian Church of the East) did not do what the Tibetan Buddhist Lamas did in Mongolia Actually the Tibetan Buddhist Lamas even burned Tengrist shamans to death

Church of the East was the only apostolic Christian church in a country where Christianity was not the state religion. They were in Mesopotamia when it was under Sassanian rule unlike Armenia and Roman empire and Ethiopia where Christianity became state religions

General Kitbuqa Noyan was a Christian and he led the invasion of the Middle East and allied with Armenian + Georgian Christians against the Sunni Muslims Also, Ongud tribal leaders in the Yuan dynasty like Prince Gaotang, Kuolijisi 闊里吉思 (Giwargis) were Nestorians

Some people need to stop seeing the world through a polytheistic vs monotheistic lens. People of the same religion and ethnicity can side with another group vastly different from their own for various reasons.
