Italian right wing politicians have insulted Islam and Muslim openly and called for pig walks at mosques. Italy has a mere 8 mosques while France has 2.2k+. Italy doesn't recognise Islam as a religion while France does.

Oddiyana was in Bactria? I thought it was somewhere around Swat (Suvastu) valley. Also, Tocharians should be in Eastern part of Tarim Basin. Western part was inhabited by Iranic Saka people. "Southeast Asians" is just lazy labelling.

Italians are far more Islamophobic than the French are but you don't see them getting the heat that their cousins to their West get...

Everyone of us has a certain food that we dearly love but it's certainly not like there aren't any substitutes for them. Meat can largely be substituted with things such as soy, raw jackfruit, etc. For poorer people, sustainable efforts should also be encouraged imho.

Not necessarily. If we stop rearing domestic animals, they would die out on their own as they are largely incapable of breeding themselves. If we don't consume them, natural predators will see population boom and then the balance will be brought again.

I come from a family with ancestral origins in fishermen community as well. But I would still say, it is more feasible to switch to a vegan diet as it reduces wastage as well as the carbon footprint. Otot, it would also result in decrease in the expenditure of a family.

Then you also have to account for the 10% energy transfer law by Raymond Lindeman. If you consume a plant, you get 10% of its stored energy, but you will have to waste 10X more sources if you consume an intermediate.

Eating meat is not economically feasible for poorer sections of the society. When you break things down on price, you can get similar amount of nutrients of dairy through substitutes such as spinach. Also, animals take more resources to rear

There's a difference between losing from anti-incumbency and then continuously declining in voteshare. Congress is virtually wiped out of all states and has to beg regional parties for help now. They went from ~50% voteshare in Andhra in 2004 to less than NOTA now

BJP's voteshare is increasing in the states where it's a junior partner (eg Sikkim) while Congress is on a reverse trajectory. Except Chattisgarh (and maybe Uttarkhand/Himachal), I doubt they can ever return to power elsewhere without someone helping them sail through.

Lol, where did BJP use any of those to come to power in states like Himachal or Rajasthan? Religion isn't the only factor people vote on. Alcohol ban in Bihar increased BJP's support among women, for instance who pulled them through just a few days ago.

Which state does Congress have mass support in lol? Pretty much every state requires a coalition partner for them to come to power now. They cannot muster votes like how BJP got 60% in Arunachal/70% in Himachal in 2019

UC Hindus support BJP the least in Bengal while OBC and SC the most actually. You don't need "all of it" to make a clean sweep in a democracy, just majority is sufficient.

Of the 43.28% votes TMC received, 22.08% were from Hindus and 20.2% from Muslims. BJP's 40.25% was ~100% Hindu. To be able to win the state, they just swing atleast 15% Hindus from TMC who get ~32% support atm.

Where do these people even come from? BJP's and RSS' principal positions are held by OBC (Modi being one), who form the backbone of Hindutva movement of India. Even bulk of the tribals in India are pro-BJP now. Even among certain SCs like Bengali SCs, BJP has massive support.

And the caste system plays a very dominant role in today's narrative of RSS Hindutva narrative. They want to sound secular but do not want to get rid of the caste system, which is a major curse for the lower caste guys for centuries.
