King Midas vs. Medusa
To be clear, King Midas has the power to instantly turn anything he touches into gold. For simplicity, let's say he is unable to accidentally turn himself or his clothing into gold.
Medusa is able to turn anyone that makes eye contact with her into stone. Let's also assume that the snakes of which her hair are made are venomous and will kill Midas if one bites him.
If there are any other mythologically reputable powers that either has that I've missed, feel free to incorporate them.
Assume both King Midas's and Medusa's powers are instantaneous and, upon activating them, the enemy will be instantly rendered immobile, thereby losing the fight and being unable to turn the other immobile as well.
R1: Neither has any prep time.
R2: Midas has 15 minutes of prep time.
R3: Medusa has 15 minutes of prep time.
R4: Both have 15 minutes of prep time.

R1: Medusa wins, Midas just has to look at her in order to be turned to stone.
R2: Midas, he could hide somewhere and use a mirror to see Medusa. When she gets close enough he rushes her with is eyes closed.
R3: Same as round 1.
R4: Medusa could better take advantage of Midas inability to see her, she wins.
B2: In Greek Mythology Medusa lived and died on an island named Sarpedon.
Couldn't Midas just close his eyes (or look down) and grope around blindly? Even if he gets bitten by the snakes, he still takes time to die. And I'd consider that skin contact, so... Midas should win if he knows he's fighting Medusa.
This happens in 2020 (of course). They have the ability to breathe start in a random McDonalds location. They are human-sized (so, not tiny) and are able to use toon force. By "accidentally" killing a person, I mean that they are unaware of this mission to kill and just behave normally.
Round 1: SpongeBob works as a fry cook for McDonald's, with Patrick kind of just hanging around him. They are treated like regular human beings
Round 2: same as round 1, but people recognise SpongeBob and Patrick and also question their existence
Round 3: They start in a human-dense area filled with people of very, very bad temper. They are treated like regular human beings
Kratos, after returning home from scattering the ashes of Faye and going to sleep, wakes up to find himself in a white room. The only other object in the room is a TV and PlayStation 4 Pro with the game God of War (2018) loaded to the main menu. A mysterious voice tells him;
"In order to be free, you must recount your journey."
Kratos, while in this room, doesn't need to eat, drink, sleep, etc. The TV and PS4 are indestructible to any damage and have an unlimited power source.
Kratos has access to his full inventory; weapons and runes, etc, from the end of his journey, with the exception of Mímir.
R1 - Given an unlimited of time in this room, can Kratos beat God of War? Kratos can fully understand the text and language.
R2 - Kratos has 1 week time.
R3 - Atreus and Mímir are there to help him, 1 week time to beat the game. Game is in English, Atreus and Mímir can translate the game.
Bonus round - Kratos at the end of God of War 3 instead, unlimited time.
