One-pot-two-step process for chemical recycling of poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET) was conducted by decomposition of PET into its oligomers, followed by their aminolysis with butylamine and allylamine to produce N, N'-dibutyl terephthalamide and N, N'-diallyl terephthalamide, respectively.
