Quick announcement to let everyone know that you can now upload images, videos, audio and pretty much any file straight from the chat, as long as it's not larger than 13 megabytes 20 MEGABYTES!!!

It's been way too long since the site has had a chat and after some Internal Discussion™ I've decided to set up a public chat again using the old 2016 client and a reimplemented sock chat server to hold us off till the proper chat is ready! You can find it at sockchat.flashii.net. It's not really a first class citizen experience yet, but when has it ever been?

Don't link/embed images directly from sites like imageboards like 4chan or social media like Twitter, reupload the images to imgur or other sites intended for hosting user content. Social media and imageboards often have hotlink protection preventing embeds or direct links from working, either that or in one particular case embedding a shock image instead. Especially this last one puts you in danger because you'll be held accountable for it from this news post onward.

If you've tried to access the site between 17:00 and 20:00 UTC today you were probably met with error page. This happened because the MySQL Database server that stores all the data had been corrupted. All data has been restored to how it was at 2019-04-30 0:00 UTC, so certain posts may have gone lost.
