In Portugal, we have Bitter Almond Liqueur. I always wondered if it smelled like that. Maybe you can test it out? It’s called Amarguinha:

You mentioned a couple of times in the video that cyanide smells like the pungent smell of chlorine in a swimming pool, but isn’t that chloramine? And is it true that it’s a byproduct of urine in water combined with chlorine? (Idea for a new video!!)

Yeah that chloramine. What's weird though is that after smelling so much cyanide, my sense of it has changed. It doesn't remind me of chlorine/pools anymore. The chloramine/pool association could be fun to explore!
