Mar 26, 2020I don't like it. I love DOOM 2016, but this is Super Mario with shotgun. First two hours i was heavyly bored. No action, so much chanted music was heard only occasionally and jumping like a Super Mario, constantly out of ammo ... This is not doom feeling, lot off ammo loved gun an constantly action this i looking in DOOM game.

Mar 25, 2020Bethesda forgot how to make good games. They killed last good IP that they had. This game it is not Doom, this is Mario with MK brutality. Absurdly annoying gameplay!

Mar 21, 2020to make a resource for survival out of enemies is complete nonsense ... it’s exactly doomguy locked with demons, and not vice versa. well, platforming hammered the last nail to the coffin lid. it' not Doom, it's ****

Mar 20, 2020Bethesda is a curse at its current state. Constant popups and weird color scheme, did you try to merge Fortnite and Doom from 2016? Its too arcade and cartoonish, I don't know who is the target player here but mine is refunded. Oh yeah, it requires Bethesda dot net login even if you buy it from Steam.

Mar 20, 2020Constant dynamics, excellent gameplay, good weapon customization, good optimization, beautiful graphics, hardcore - all this is about Doom Eternal. This game is not to relax after a hard day, it will take all your time and strength. 10 chopped demons out of 10.

Mar 21, 2020It's not DOOM, it's DOOM Arcade! The game with so-called cartoonish violence. Don't buy it. It's complete disappointment. DOOM(2016) is many times better and without unnecessary tinsel.

Mar 25, 2020Overhyped piece of generic crap.
I don´t find it interesting, innovative, neither exiting. I´m amazed how low the press is always promoting garbage like this. Enemies are the crappiest design. This game is just another fps and inferior that the previous. I don´t giving a 0 because theres sh1t worse around, but this game is mediocre and more of the stupid same thing. -

Mar 20, 2020I don’t understand how THIS simulator of piano and ammunition collection can be called DOOM.
No fun, no fun action game, you just run around and try to **** find bullets while the ****ing chainsaw is on cd.
Absolutely unnecessary puzzle games that break the pace of the game, inadequate number of bugs and softlocks for AAA games. -

Mar 20, 2020Эта игра отдельное удовольствие которое выходило за 2020 год. Я бы сказал что игра просто шедевральна на мой вкус. всем рекомендую к покупке))

Mar 22, 2020I loved the last game... This Doom makes me feel that I'm from an action-fantasy anime of some kind with a pinch of extra glimmer and shine for kids to enjoy. I think the fans are very disappointed.
PS: the soundtracks are still good tho. -
Mar 20, 2020Game of the year!!! I dont know why so many people dont like the game. It is super fresh etc. 10/10!
-
Mar 20, 2020pros:
automap looks cool, no-drm on day 1, great tool if you want to feel like you got monochromacy sight.
Cons:
Everything's brown or brownish-red color, weapons feels weak, constant interruptions in form of pop-up messages or cut-scenes.
i guess it's cool if you never played anything outside of doom 2016. -

Mar 20, 2020I am so disappointed by this game. It is dull. All the sharpness that was introduced in 2016 is just lacking here. I have no interested in playing a shooter where you are note given ammo to shot with. Everything about this game is just lame.

Mar 20, 2020Overall downgrade compared to DOOM 2016, don't know if it's just my computer, but controls stutter constantly, slow loading, "teleporting" enemies, at least cut-scenes were more or less optimized.
I wouldn't recommend buying game now, before they fix terrible performance issues. -

Apr 25, 2020It's not fun to count every single bullet in DOOM game and to run every single corner in search of bullets instead of fighting. There are other issues too, even music is worse than in DOOM 2016. "Rip and Tear"? No, more like "Jump and Search ammo"! Disappointed.

Apr 23, 2020Doom 2016 was way better than expected. This one thou didn't meet my expectations. It's just not fun.
Somehow it looks worst than the 2016 version and silly like a comedy it's supposed to be hell like.
The ammo mechanics which I thought would be interesting didn't work out. Out of ammo all the time with every weapon. And I play Doom 2016 in Nightmare level. So I don't know it's just not fun. -
Apr 12, 2020Need more ammo, need normal graphics, and need
remove stupid platforming!!! -

May 15, 2020Bait and switch, making a kernel-level anti-cheat mandatory to play the single player campaign. Didn't own the game long enough to finish the campaign, but too long to get a refund through Steam. Never again.
-
May 15, 2020Decided it was a good idea to add ring-0 kernel level anti cheat month's after release which not even legal, shoving it down my throat even enabled when playing single player only, in a game that comes with cheats for single player even has achievements for it, it basically is spyware now... shame on you Bethesda.
-
May 15, 2020A fine game, but with today's update intrusive Kernel-Level DRM has been added to the game (almost two months after release!).
Do not support such behavior! -
May 17, 2020Great game that got completely destroyed by the deceiving decision of adding an "anti-cheat" rootkit, with kernel ring 0 access, 2 months after launch that even prevents you to play it in single-player mode unless you install that crap. Lesson learned: if I ever want to purchase another game from Bethesda (which I honestly doubt) I will wait at least a year.

May 18, 2020Avoid Denuvo and Bethesda, don't give them your business! Not only does the latest update install Denuvo anti-cheat even when only singleplaying but it also breaks linux compability.
-
May 18, 2020Great game overall even for someone that is horrible at fps games. Denuvo Anti-Cheat is the worst, no program should have kernel-level access.
-
May 19, 2020Added Denuvo software... after the initial release...
Gee, I Wonder why...
This is a dick move. -
May 19, 2020you better rip and tear out the R0 kernel program Bethesda. Adding an highly invasive and potential security risk after the game is out after a few months so people can't get a refund is a big no no. the bait and switch is bs

May 15, 2020Game itself was originally a 6-7.
They pulled a bait and switch however and with yesterdays update added Denuvo Anti-Cheat which requires a kernel mode driver that causes system instability and massive slowdowns. It also runs during singleplayer. -

May 17, 2020Beware of kernel-level malware with admin permissions added month after game release. Any vulnerability in this malware will grand 100% admin access to you workstation to any intruder exploiting vulnerability and and devs of this malware already has full admin access at their pleasure.
Install and use at your own risk! -

-
May 20, 2020Game was absolutely incredible! Recent update added Denuvo Anti-Cheat, which always runs in the background, even if u play singleplayer. That stuff completely broke the game. Performance is pisspoor rn. Was playing on high, constant 60fps, buttersmooth. Now i get severe Framedrops even on the lowest Graphicsettings. 0/10 until this BS is fixed! FU Bethesda!!
-
May 18, 2020Aside from the graphics from 10 years ago the kernel based anti cheat that basically now allows them to take over and track everything you do on your pc is such a invasion of privacy. Bethesda has to be the worst company when it comes to making sound decisions.....
-
May 17, 2020The recent update forces the user to install a KERNEL level, Ring 0 malware on their computer which gives Admin access to the entire PC. If a hacker finds any exploit, then they will have full Admin access to millions of PCs. This is an EXTREME security risk, and though Doom Eternal was a great game, it is not worth the risk anymore to play this game.

May 18, 2020Literally created an account to help review bomb this game due to the Denuvo **** on PC. I bought the 200 dollar collector's edition. So as of now, I have a cool collectors edition that I will be associating with Doom 2016. Good job Bethesda.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 22, 2020The murderous amok simulator returns and is even more furious than before. Fantastic presentation and great fighting system are harmed only by annoying platforming sequences. [Issue#302]

May 1, 2020If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

Apr 19, 2020Like Jason Statham’s character in Crank, Doom Eternal needs adrenaline every waking second. So long as you drown hordes of demons in their own blood, it feels like a perfect GOTY contender, but during quiet moments, Doom Eternal withers and forces you to ponder unpleasant questions. id Software needs to course-correct, otherwise we’ll be playing Super Doom Slayer’s Bros in a few years.
