5Dimes' HIAC 2020 Odds For Sunday Morning

There isn't too much to detail in regards to the WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 betting markets from 5Dimes since I first wrote about them yesterday.

One market has been added and another has been adjusted slightly since the post.

The new market is for the Otis versus The Miz contest that was confirmed during Friday night's episode of Smackdown. It has Otis' Money in the Bank briefcase on the line.

When I came across the market at 6:30PM BST yesterday, Otis was a -195 favourite over the +155 for Mizanin. However, when I checked in later on, Miz's price had slid into +135 and the fave was up to -175.

5Dimes' WWE HIAC 2020 Odds: Otis .vs. The Miz

I am now on GMT time. I checked in at 9:00AM today and the market is unchanged.

The market that has had changes made to it is the one for the WWE Championship.

Randy Orton - who was a +175 underdog on Friday - dipped into +170 before yesterday evening while the titleholder, Drew McIntyre, has moved up from -245 to -230.

The other selections, and their prices, are:

Roman Reigns -2,000
Jey Uso +1,000

Jeff Hardy +120

Observer Star Rating Betting Results For Nights 12-16 Of The G1 Climax 30

Dave Meltzer's reviews of the final few nights of this year's G1 Climax will appear in the upcoming issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It should be available by the end of this week. Until then, I'll bring you up to speed on how Kambi's Observer star ratings markets were settled following the release of the most recent edition of the newsletter.

In the issue dated October 19 2020, Meltzer reviewed the action from nights twelve to sixteen of the tourney.

When I last wrote about some of the markets, we were left waiting to settle a few markets that combined nights eleven and twelve.

The first was a head-to-head which required the star ratings of all the matches from night twelve.

G1 Climax 30 Betting: Observer Head-to-Head

It had Kota Ibushi .vs. Shingo Takagi up against all of the matches that were held over the two nights. Ibushi/Takagi was the match of night eleven with four-and-a-half stars and, as you'll see below, the best contest from the following night of action was Tetsuya Naito versus Juice Robinson, which was a quarter of a star less than Ibushi/Takagi.

G1 Climax 30 6th Round Star Ratings

The quarter of a star difference came into play in a proposition market which asked customers whether or not there would be a difference of at least half a star between the highest rated match - or matches - and the next best rated bout/s from nights eleven and twelve.

'No' was the winning selection as night eleven's Ospreay .vs. Suzuki and night twelve's Naito/Robinson contests were a quarter short.

The winning selection started off as a 13/25 favourite, but was up slightly to 11/20 before betting closed.

G1 Climax 30 Betting: Observer Prop Bet

A head-to-head, for two matches from night twelve, was published by the oddsmakers. In it, customers were asked to gamble on which - out of Naito .vs. Robinson or Hiroshi Tanahashi .vs. EVIL -  would get the most stars in Dave Meltzer's review.

The main event of night twelve received three-and-three quarter stars from Meltzer. Therefore, it was beaten by the four-and-a-quarter that Robinson .vs. Naito was given by the editor.

As you can see below, the winning selection was a 5/4 favourite initially. It was backed into EVS within two days and was then down to 3/5 a few hours after that.

G1 Climax 30 Betting: Head-to-Head

Over/Under markets from most of these nights were published. However, nights thirteen and fourteen weren't covered by the bookmakers. The thirteenth night saw Meltzer grade two matches five-and-a-quarter, so it was a shame to see how that rating would have faired against a line.

All of the O/U results from nights twelve, fifteen and sixteen can be viewed below.

Kota Ibushi Wins G1 Climax 30

Kota Ibushi Wins G1 Climax 30

Kota Ibushi has won this year's G1 Climax tournament - a consecutive victory after doing so in 2019.
He did so by beating B Block's winner - SANADA - in today's final from Tokyo.

Heading into today's final, the eventual winner was 11/10 in Kambi's 'Tournament Winner' market that was first published last month.

When the market initially became available, Ibushi was priced at 6/1 by the sports betting service.

The market was republished yesterday evening with today's finalists as the remaining selections. At the time, Ibushi was 7/5. His odds fell within a few hours into the aforementioned 11/10 and remained at that price until this morning's closure.

The full list of participants' prices for the entire tournament can be viewed by clicking on the image below.

SANADA Wins B Block In G1 Climax 30

By virtue of tiebreaker wins over Tetsuya Naito and EVIL, SANADA is the winner of B Block in this year's G1 Climax.

The winner will now head into tomorrow's tournament final against A Block victor - Kota Ibushi.

SANADA was a joint-favourite to be the B Block winner when Kambi published its markets for the tournament last month.

He was 7/4 to start with.

G1 Climax 30 Betting: B Block Winner

As you can see above, he fell into 9/5 - from 5/2 - shortly before the market was closed this morning.

Kota Ibushi .vs. SANADA will be the winning selection in the market in which customers could have bet on the 'Exact Combination of Finalists'.

The selection was 10/1 when the market was initially published. The top price would have been 12/1, which was available on October 2nd and 4th. The selection slid into 4/1 after that. However, when the market was last made available, customers were offered the option to gamble, once again, on its original price of 10/1.

G1 Climax 30 Betting: Final

G1 Climax 30 Betting: Night 18

The conclusion of the B Block round of matches in this year's G1 Climax are set to take place today. As per usual, I'll write about the betting odds for each contest.

Before I begin, there has been a slight change to the B Block Winner market that I last posted an update about last night.

I checked in with the market at 8:00AM BST today and it still listed EVIL as a 13/20 favourite to be at the top of the group when all is said and done later today. The other potential winners - SANADA and Tetsuya Naito - were both at 5/2.

With forty-five minutes of my first visit of the day, I noticed that SANADA's odds had lowered into 9/5.

EVIL was still a favourite. However, his price had risen to 3/1 while Naito was moved up to 3s.

G1 Climax 30: Night 18

Toru Yano (3-5) .vs. Yoshi-Hashi (1-7)
Kambi's market for today's opening tournament match started off with Toru Yano a 13/25 favourite and Yoshi-Hashi at 13/10.

In the end, the market closed with Yoshi-Hashi as an 11/25 favourite. The early favourite ended up at 8/5.

G1 Climax 30 Betting: Yano .vs. Yoshi-Hashi

Match Winner: Yoshi-Hashi

Juice Robinson (3-5) .vs. Hirooki Goto (4-4)
When betting began for the Juice Robinson versus Hirooki Goto match, the bookies had Robinson as a 4/6 favourite. His opponent was 27/25.

By yesterday evening, Robinson was down to 13/25. He was still at that price when I visited the website this morning. However, when I made a final visit at 8:45AM BST, I noticed he had lowered into 2/5.

G1 Climax 30 Betting: Robinson .vs. Goto

With Robinson's odds lowered on the two occasions I tracked them, Hirooki Goto rose from the 27/25 to 7/4 with a stop at 13/10.

Match Winner: Juice Robinson

Hiroshi Tanahashi (3-5) .vs. Zack Sabre Jr. (5-3)
Kambi opened a market for the third tournament match of the day on Monday with Hiroshi Tanahashi a 3/4 favourite. A decision in favour of Zack Sabre Jr was offered at 19/20.

When the market was republished on Thursday evening, the favourite was down into 13/25 while ZSJ was up to 13/10.

Tanahashi was down to 2/5 by yesterday morning and was then a slightly shorter 7/20 later that day. His price was unchanged when I took a look over the market on the two occasions this morning.

G1 Climax 30 Betting: Tanahashi .vs. ZSJ

Zack Sabre Junior closed as a 19/10 underdog.

Match Winner: Hiroshi Tanahashi

Tetsuya Naito (6-2) .vs. KENTA (4-4)
Tetsuya Naito started out as an underdog to beat KENTA in the penultimate match of B Block when a market for this meeting was released last month.

The current IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion was 27/25 to KENTA's 4/6.

When all was said and done, the market closed with the early favourite down into 11/25 while Naito was up to 8/5.

G1 Climax 30 Betting: Naito .vs. KENTA

Match Winner: KENTA

SANADA (5-3) .vs. EVIL (6-2)
The SANADA .vs. EVIL main event market closed with both selections at 17/20 apiece. This was following SANADA's odds dipping from EVS sometime between 8:00AM and 8:45AM BST this morning.

When the market was first priced up in September, the bookmakers listed SANADA as a 4/6 fave with EVIL at 27/25.

From a betting perspective, Ibushi was third going into today's round. He closed at 13/4 behind White (EVS) and Kazuchika Okada (7/4).

The only other person still in the hunt at the start of the day - Will Ospreay - was 11/2.

As you can see below, the A Block winner started off at 9/2 when the market was opened on September 9th. His price fluctuated as the tournament was in progress, but the 9/2 was the best available price.

On Monday morning, Takagi was a 3/5 fave. However, by 7:15PM BST that evening, the price was down into 13/25.

The favourite was down to 1/3 when the market was republished yesterday evening and remained at this number right through to this morning's close.
