BOWANDE LMS AND BRITISH RAIL JUBILEE

Sir William Stanier's Jubilee class were the largest class of six coupled passenger engine introduced by any of the "big four" railway companies.
Introduced in 1932 the class eventually totalled 191 locomotives and could be seen all over the LMS and BR London Midland regions. We have chosen to model the more common long firebox variant with a 4000 gallon riveted Stanier tender. The model will be available in LMS crimson lake British Rail Green liveries. A very limited production run we are now taking deposits to secure your model. Due winter 2020/21

The muscular lines of these superb Riddles pacific’s are perfectly captured in this gauge 1 example from Bowande.
Introduced in 1951 the 54 members of the Britannia class established a fine reputation operating on all regions of the British Rail network. With a superb selection of evocative names, the class became firm favourites with modelers and enthusiasts.
Just like the full-size prototype this Bowande live steam fine scale model performs superbly with a strong purposeful bark from it’s two-cylinder exhaust beat.

Beautiful gauge 1 scale model of these classic southern branch line 0-4-4T Locomotives. Designed at Nine Elms by Dugald Drummond the first Locomotive of the class entered service in 1897. Originally built for the London and South Western Railway production continued until 1911 by which time 105 had entered service. The Bowande live steam model splendidly captures the well proportioned features of these popular long serving branch line locomotives

Sir Nigel Gresley’s masterpiece’s the 35 members of the class entered LNER service from 1935. One member of the class, Mallard was destined to become famous as the fastest steam locomotive of all time with a world beating speed of 126 miles an hour.
The Bowande live steam A4 pacific fully captures the majesty of these giants of steam with their complex curved streamlined casings. The last few LNER blue livery models are still available.
