Communism isn't a moment of the masses to overthrow the Bankers: it's a movement of the Bankers to over throw the masses.

Half? More like practically ALL of it ... talk to the tobacco farmers of Cuba.

Getting there. Definitely hardly capitalist anymore, with the massive government oversight and entitlement programs

divide and conquor is nothing specific to any economic system, there's always those at the top sewing division among the bottom.

oh, the fixed resource fallacy. How nice it plays both ways. There only one cookie, nobody can make another cookie, this is a similar argument they use against capitalism.

Supply chains are much less flexible when centrally controlled so, yes, resources are more fixed under communism than capitalism.

There will always be rich elites, even in communist systems. Those same types control all political systems. Taking them out should be everyone's priority.

Which then leads to the people that "took them out" becoming the rich elites and the cycle just repeats.

The same could be said for the current fractional reserve banking system. You give the bank one cookie, it makes two cookies out of your one cookie, gives you back a half a cookie and then you pay half of that in taxes for the no cookie people.

That's communism.

Now replace the hammer and sickle with a blue donkey, this meme remains the same.

Given the man reassembling the upper class has majority of the cookies and the working class man is represented by someone with one cookie I'd say this is much closer to capitalism

It's still pretty accurate. The point being, in practice, whether it be communism are capitalist. The elite don't care since they never have to redistribute their wealth, or pay for shit. The poor do.

There was actually quite a lot of worker control and participation in the USSR...

Sad but true. Pehaps once we get to a Star Trek level post-scarcity Federation of Planets society then central apportionment of resources might work. Until such time, lets go with individual responsibility and
