Ehh. More likely he's panicking, is suffering from some lingering effects of COVID, is surrounded by people giving him bad advice, has never had particularly good instincts for winning general elections, and doesn't really have any plan from day to day.

Trump seems to be pivoting to starting a rightwing media company since he’s blowing the election. Only way to explain what he’s doing. If he’s going to lose big he needs to salvage a “win.”

Agree it’s not a concerted strategy. But the byproduct of his election flameout is he’s built a core audience that he can monetize later.

That’s what I always find kinda funny, when people are trying to rationalize his behavior. When the more likely scenario is that he’s just not a smart person, has no plan, and thrashes about according to his daily emotional swings. And of course that’s enhanced by having COVID.
