For the reduction of the building ventilation load, the earth tube systems that pass the outside air through the underground pitt are applied to the actual buidings, recently. This paper presents an example of library operating pattern in the earth tube system of medium-scale office building model. And this paper presents the examination about the efficacy of thermal energy storage of the earth tube system, calculating influence constituents of various stimulus variables by simulation-aided design software, SAPLO (Simulation-aided Architectural Planning Language based on Object-oriented concept).
