I love robocopy, this util is required replacement for copy/xcopy stuff.

robocopy needlessly destroys folder metadata; such destruction is avoidable, e.g., use explorer.exe for moving and copying. See twitter.com/jaret_r/status and right click>properties of a folder before and after moving/copying directories with each method.

Robocopy kinda sucks because it changes the metadata of the folders when copying. (Maybe that is inevitable?) So youtube.com/watch?v=DNZ5Jf is wrong, it does not make an exact identical copy. DNZ5JfBrndU suggested "robocopy source destination /MIR" - mirror, which acts like rsync.
