Not talking about national politics, but national topics. things like our mineral sovereignty, our hegemony over the amazon, our control of Mercosul's economy, the merits of different political systems, international diplomacy and so on were never discussed among normalfag cycles, and I'm seeing fast changes in this sense amongst those I frequent. A country with purpose is a country that has a future.
I'd say not having national goals and no reason of being as a nation is a major reason why we haven't "suceeded" as a nation even during our "least-worse" days, and that seems to be changing with the examples I've mentioned.
