Okay, I am now firmly in the ABC camp.
I don't like the incessant ad hominems and inflammatory remarks, but there is no doubt in my mind that the IFP is a slam dunk.

If you believe ABC's gradual corruption led to this split, you're seeing a pattern.
If that's the case, BCHN's goal should be to prevent future splits with established governance procedures.
As far as I can tell, no one's talking about this - they're just hoping for the best.
I actually like fixed fees. Some people rely on them for some smart contracts on BCH.
BCH doesn’t *really* have a fixed fee, but in practice if you set your fee to 1sat/B, you’re almost guaranteed to get into the next block.

What Avalanche is Not, Episode 1
This is the first in a series of tweet threads that will discuss fundamental shortcomings or pitfalls of the Avalanche Consensus protocol, and its instantiation in Avalanche. On today’s episode: fees.
"[...] you need to seize it [...] people are going to be very pissed at the financial system very soon [...] people are going to look for [credible] alternatives [....]"
Is this the #Bitcoin
Our good friend Joe Biden doesn't seem to want to debate Donald Trump- The Don wants to know why. Perhaps we will find out in this EXCITING NEW EPISODE OF FR...
will end up with the BCH ticker come #November15th, I'm rather ambivalent.
There is upside to a new ticker, so long as it is listed on major exchanges (the reason exchanges would give ABC a new ticker).
The #Bitsheviks need the ticker.
ABC doesn't.
Bitcoin Cash: Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash for the World
Bitcoin Cash is designed to become electronic cash for the world. Importantly, no one owns Bitcoin Cash, no government, no company, no individual. It is you ...
to be taxed to death are just doing it out of pure envy, exactly like Cain in the biblical story.
The fact that Elon really deserves that much money—and they don’t—is unbearable for them.
In fact, think about what the BCH space would look like if we had a consistent, powerful and easy to use transaction format, which allows miner-enforced tokens and many other things.
Many that’s happening on ETH right now would happen on BCH, but scalable.
Infrastructure is key

Another non-trivial example is the 1sat/B rule.
A lot of smart contracts rely on that number to limit the number of satoshis a malicious party could burn to miners.
If our infrastructure didn’t provide that, these contracts would all not work and be fundamentally reengeneered.
It's actually a return to a system we had before the state: peer-to-peer reciprocity.
The problem Bitcoin solves is the problem the state (and state-protected money) solved (and why the state was adopted):
How can I safely have economic activity with total strangers?
And everyone is free to propose a different, competing solution.
Nobody is forced to go along with a decision.
We call it “consensus”, as if that’s just another term, but it’s literally that. Everyone agrees on the terms.
A beautiful system that will change our civilization.
Once you’ve dealt with politics on Bitcoin for a while, democracy seems completely ridiculous and antiquated.
We finally have a tool where conflicts *must* be resolved peacefully using Nakamoto Consensus.
We can do competing monetary policies this way.
It’s kinda overkill to have an entire top-level domain for a single moon.
What’s the point? Each crater having it’s own website?
Also, why no TLDs for all the other moons?

I was about to say if miners are pursuing their long-term interest, why wouldn't they just finance a team for $8 million a year to mine the version of Bitcoin which best suits their interest?
Then I laughed and realized this is what they're doing now.
Miners proposed the IFP.
A local business wanted a #BitcoinCash tip jar to display on their counter, so I designed something in an afternoon and 3D printed it overnight. Give it a try for yourself!
Wait what?!
“After November [...] Bitcoin Cash will continue its quest to peer-to-peer cash for the world as it sheds yet another team who WANTS TO USE THE PROTOCOL FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT” (emphasis mine)
