  • On the vision for #BAUM spaces, our design partners @neriandhu commented, “Wood has always carried strong symbolic meaning and is by nature a material of the earth, sustainable by essence. The space design was about trying to apply different metaphors associated with trees. It’s a forest, a refuge, a restful room. It’s private, for feeling intimately connected to the brand and products.”  #BAUM spaces のビジョンについて、デザインパートナーの @neriandhu はこう語ります。「ストアの空間においては、樹木にまつわる様々なモチーフを、メタファーを用いて表現しました。そこは、森であり、くつろぎの場所であり、ストアに訪れる一人一人が心からBAUMとのつながりを持てる場所であると同時に、店頭の前を通る人たちに向けても、プロダクトを魅力的に魅せる場所であるべきだと考えました。」
  • The iconic rippling oak walls at #BAUM_Yokohama concept store. Vertical lines and subtle changes in the wood’s colour and texture reflect the diversity and beauty of the forest itself.  森に一歩踏み入れたかのような、#BAUM_Yokohamaには、オーク材を巻き付けた柱が林立している。いくつかの異なる表情を持つ柱は、森の多様性と美しさを表現している。
  • BAUM’s vision is brought to life in our stores through our collaboration with renowned multi-disciplinary architects @neriandhu. Designs originate from BAUM’s manifesto - to celebrate trees, organic ingredients, and sustainable sourcing. BAUMのストアは、国際的に活躍する建築デザインスタジオ「Neri＆Hu」によってデザインされています。サステナビリティに基づくわたしたちの哲学を伝え、樹木の美しさが表現された空間です。

  • All of our upcycled BAUM wood is unique, each with its own pattern and depth of color. Our wooden packaging is carefully finished, keeping in mind durability and long-term usage, and always maintaining the unique grain and texture of each component. Every piece is finished by hand by the artisan craftspeople at @karimoku_official. アップサイクルした端材から作られるBAUMの木製パーツは、それぞれ木目や色味が異なります。個性の違う木目や、木の手触りを残しながら、長い時間、大切に使い続けられるよう、ひとつひとつ、@karimoku_officialの職人の手仕事によって仕上げられています。
  • #BAUM_Craftsmanship At BAUM, good design means finding the perfect balance of beauty, functionality and sustainability. BAUM’s wooden packaging, exquisitely designed by product designer @watarukumano , is carefully crafted at @karimoku_official factory, utilising upcycled wood from furniture manufacturing. BAUMが考えるすぐれたデザインとは、美しさと機能性がともない、サステナブルであること。 木を知り尽くすプロダクトデザイナーの @watarukumano がデザインしたBAUMのパッケージは、家具の製造工程で発生した小さい木材をアップサイクルし、@karimoku_official の工場で作られています。
