7/10 districts of Kashmir have a higher contraceptive prevalence rate than the state average of Jammu & Kashmir. Meanwhile 7/10 of Jammu are below the average. The 3 that are very high are the Hindu heavy districts of Jammu, Udhampur and Kathua. Samba clocks v poor somehow.

Kashmir Valley has a higher contraceptive usage rate than Jammu and has the highest average age of marriage in India as a whole. Their TFR was 1.9 as per SRS survey in 2017. This basically implies Congress has inflated the population of the valley after 1971 onwards.

In Manipur, for instance, Muslims have grown 5X as compared to Upper Assam where they only doubled in the last 150 years. It's pretty certain they have inflated population of Muslim heavy tehsils like Lilong to bolster their share for MLA seats.

Rise of the Muslim population was relatively slow until 1971 but then started picking up pace from that time onwards. In some places, their population grew faster than even what their TFR would've suggested. In Kashmir Valley, Muslims have a TFR of 1.9 yet show 3.5 on census.
