Lubuntu 14.04 desktop i386 ISO file (lubuntu-14.04-desktop-i386.iso)

I downloaded the BitTorrent version because the download speed of two of the HTTP(S) downloads that I found were way too slow. The two that I found were: http://ftp.psu.ru/linux/lubuntu-releases/14.04/release/lubuntu-14.04-desktop-i386.iso and https://phillw.net/isos/lubuntu/trusty/ > https://phillw.net/isos/lubuntu/trusty/lubuntu-14.04-desktop-i386.iso. English pronunciation respelling: it is pronounced as luu-BUUN-too or loo-BUUN-too, not le-BUUN-too. Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lubuntu. I downloaded this ISO from somewhere (I forgot where) and burned it to a Philips CD-R disk years ago. On the disk I used a physical fine-point orange marker to label the disk; I wrote with my own handwriting:
1. Open the CLI/terminal program.
2. Run "sudo su" to login as root.
3. Run "lsblk" to see the devices.
4. Open the file explorer program and unmount all hard drives or storage devices.
5. (You could alternatively run "umount /lubuntu/media/[text]/" to unmount them, where "/lubuntu/media/" is whatever the path to the mountpoint is and "[text]/" is the mount point)
6. Run "cd /lubuntu/media/".
7. Run "mkdir whatever1".
8. Run "mkdir whatever2".
9. Run "mount /dev/sda /lubuntu/media/whatever1" (or whatever "/dev/s*" device).
10. Run "mount /dev/sdb /lubuntu/media/whatever1"; it might actually be "/dev/s*#", like "/dev/sdb1". I'm not sure, but I think the number at the end is excluded because mounting a partition of the device and not the device itself doesn't make sense to me.
12. Run "ls -la" (I think) to check your permissions in regards to any file in each of device 1 and device 2. It should say something like "-rwxrwxrwx", which means that you can do anything you want with the file.
11. Now run "cp -a ..." (see "cp --help") or "mv ..." to copy or move files. In my experience, anytime I didn't use CLI with admin privileges and proper mounting the stuff got kinda messed up.

I don't remember why I wrote "older less powerful laptops", but maybe it does work with laptops and not just desktops; or, I got something mixed up and wrote incorrect information. I ended up storing the Lubuntu CD amongst other optical disks in a CD/DVD cake box spindle container in the back right of the second-to-bottom drawer in a dresser nearest to the door in my room. Most of the volume of that drawer was occupied by clothes. You can use this Linux liveboot CD to copy or move files from storage device to storage device, but make sure to properly mount the devices before copying or moving. To do this, do something like:
2014
32-bit
Lubuntu 14.04 desktop i386
(older less
powerful minimalist
laptops)
1. Open the CLI/terminal program.
2. Run "sudo su" to login as root.
3. Run "lsblk" to see the devices.
4. Open the file explorer program and unmount all hard drives or storage devices.

Subject: In Dell Dimension PC
In Dell Dimension 4300 series with Intel Pentium 4 1.60 GHz processor this did not work at all as a liveboot CD. The same CD did live boot on another PC though.
It is ironic the Lubuntu failed to work with an old system, even though it specifically implied that it would work.
