Delimitation is done based on population, not area.
Otherwise a state like Arunachal would get more seats than Jharkhand or Sikkim more than Delhi.

In 2011, 24.49% of the tribals there reported themselves as Xtian.
(16.94% among the Karbis)
Tribals make up 56.33% of the population of the district's total population.
